After the fun chaos of watching Jinwoo react to the stat-boosting food, you head back home with a lot on your mind. The day has been strange enough already, unlocking a system, experimenting with magical food, and now then hearing Jinwoo's ideas about how useful your abilities could be. He wasn't wrong, but it still feels surreal.

Once you're back in your apartment, curiosity gets the better of you. If you have a system like Jinwoo, there must be more to it, right? After taking a deep breath, you decide to try the most obvious thing.

"Status window," you say aloud, half-expecting nothing to happen.

A screen instantly pops up in front of you.

Stats:

Strength: 28

---

You stare at the stats, a mix of excitement and confusion settling in. "Culinary Artisan?" You can't help but chuckle. Of course, that would be your class. It seems fitting, considering your abilities revolve around food, but the title Sweet Support also stands out. "So, I am... a buffing chef?"

You examine your stats more closely. They seem pretty average, if you got evaluated now it would be E-rank based on the mp points. But that doesn't matter much when your real power lies in what you can cook. The thought makes you smile. You may not be swinging daggers or summoning shadows like Jinwoo, but in your own way, you can still contribute.

That's when a new option catches your eye at the corner of the screen.

[SHOP AVAILABLE]

The word 'shop' piques your interest, and with a quick tap on the floating window, you open it. What you see next blows your mind.

The shop is divided into sections: Ingredients, Pre-Made Foods, and Kitchen Equipment.

Of course all prices are set for gold coins, which makes you wonder how you're going to get. Most of the items look normal but before you could scroll any further the next section was locked. Tapping on the lock another screen popped up.

[LOCKED:]

[LEVEL TOO LOW]

"Guess I have to be at a higher level then."

A mix of excitement and confusion bubbles inside you as you review the details. It's still hard to believe you have a status window, like something out of a game. And yet, here it is, complete with HP, MP, and stats you've only ever seen in the countless RPGs you used to play back home, there's even a shop!. The idea of being an actual "Culinary Artisan" sounds both ridiculous and amazing. A class dedicated to making food? Sure, why not?

"Oh! Those pans would be great to use!" You look at a sleek looking pan set, before turning your gaze to the cheap pans you bought a long time ago.

"... Guess I know what I'm going to buy first."

Closing the shop for now, deciding that exploring your new powers will have to wait until you've gained more experience. After a quick glance at the time, you realize it's time to head to work. Luckily, your daily quest is a baking task again today, so you'll be able to knock it out during your shift. The system even mentions that the rewards will include experience points, ability points, and some gold coins.
