The first light of dawn crept over the horizon, casting an eerie glow across the empty battlefield. Bibi tightened her grip on her bat, feeling the familiar surge of adrenaline building in her veins. The showdown was minutes away, and every member of the team was in position, silent and tense, waiting for the signal to begin.

But as she glanced across the field and spotted Melodie, her heart skipped. The memory of last night still lingered, their whispered words and the quiet spark between them. She took a deep breath, forcing herself to focus. Out here, she couldn’t afford any distractions—not even for Melodie.

Today, they were Brawlers first.

As the showdown began their team was ambushed already. Bull fell first so Melodie, Crow and you made agressive move towards the enemy but to no avail. It was now only Tick vs Max,Surge,Jacky,Edgar and Colette. "Come on Tick, win this, for the team" you whispered full of stress and anxiety. But Tick surely wasnt going down without a fight. When Edgar jumped on him Tick used his Last Hoorah and knocked away the Edgar quickly loading him with mines. It is a 4v1. But now...Tick felt a energy go through him. It was something he never felt before. The energy was so great he got a purple aura...he got Hypercharged. He quickly released his head allowing him to play agressivly. Tick quickly took down the Max and Surge, leaving him in a 1v1 against Jacky. He deployed his head for one last time securing himself a teamwipe.Tick’s victory left the battlefield in silence, broken only by the faint sounds of cheering in the distance as the crowd processed the unexpected win. Bibi let out a breath, shoulders sagging with relief as she watched him spin around in celebration, his robotic voice buzzing with excitement. She couldn’t believe it—they’d actually pulled it off.

With the showdown over, the team regrouped. Bull clapped Tick on the back, laughing and muttering something about “dumb luck and small brains,” while Crow gave a rare nod of approval. But Bibi didn’t stay for long. She shot a quick look at Melodie, giving her a small nod, and they both slipped away from the team, heading around to the quiet alley behind the Brawl House.

Once they were alone, Bibi leaned back against the wall, trying to shake off the day’s tension. She looked over at Melodie, who was watching her with a soft expression, one that sent a familiar warmth through her chest.

“So… about that moment yesterday,” Bibi started, the words almost catching in her throat. She wasn’t used to talking about her feelings, but something about Melodie made her want to try. “Are we…?”

Melodie smiled, stepping a little closer. “I guess so,” she said softly. For a moment, there was only silence as they looked at each other, the noise of the Brawl House fading into the background. Bibi felt herself relax, the weight of everything melting away as she stood there with Melodie.

But the quiet was broken when Bull and Crow rounded the corner, Crow raising an eyebrow as he took in the scene. “Oh, there you two are,” Crow said, smirking a little. “Sneaking off already, huh?”

Bibi rolled her eyes, brushing off the teasing as she took a step back from Melodie. “Just needed some air,” she replied casually, though she could feel her cheeks heating up.

Bull chuckled, crossing his arms. “Well, get your air, but don’t forget to celebrate. Tick just won us that match out there, and the least we can do is give him a decent toast for it.”

With one last glance at Melodie, Bibi followed Bull and Crow back inside. The team gathered around Tick, who was still radiating with pride, and they spent the next hour celebrating, swapping stories about the fight and giving Tick more praise than he probably knew what to do with.

As the evening wound down, Bibi found herself glancing over at Melodie again. The two shared a quiet smile, a silent promise that their story was just beginning.
