It was a new day, as the two detectives were back on the case, currently on their way to the construction site the old man, Darrell, had pointed them in the direction of, hoping to have a word with two of the female workers there.

The two sat in a partially rough-looking vehicle, Clyde behind the wheel as Anthony took up the passenger seat. Clyde's bruise seemed to be healing quite nicely, barely even noticeable now but was replaced by bags under his tired eyes, having barely gotten any sleep. Anthony did take notice of this before but held his tongue as he had thought back to last night, the conversation the two had before parting.

"You doing ok Clyde?" Anthony gave in and asked, now that the vehicle had stopped behind a red light, showing a clear road ahead as the morning rush had ended not too long ago.

Clyde hummed softly to avoid conversation, rubbing his eye on his shoulder with a soft groan, showing clear signs of exhaustion.

Anthony sighed as he leaned closer toward Clyde "Did you get any sleep last night? Was it the thing that I said?" He asked, watching as Clyde clicked his tongue and continued to drive once the light had turned green.

"I'm fine Anthony, nothing you said affected me... just, the body we found kept me up at night" Clyde admitted, lying about one thing but telling the truth about the other. He did have nightmares of that bag, filled with body parts and blood, how could anyone in their right mind sleep after witnessing something like that.. apparently Anthony could. As for the conversation last night, that too messed with Clyde somewhat, feeling self-conscious for not taking his car to work, doing so now to drive them both to the construction site, hoping that there won't be any emergencies at home.

Anthony nodded in acknowledgment "Oh, right... I forget you've never seen a body before, I did tell you to look someplace else, so it is kinda your fault" Anthony spoke, realizing he should've worded that better, as Clyde glared at him.

Clyde would have argued with Anthony, but he was way too tired to multitask, with keeping up conversation and driving, it was too much for his brain to handle.

"Well I have now, so I shouldn't be new to it anymore" was the only thing Clyde could mumble out, turning down Grove Avenue, passing by the restaurant they had visited just yesterday, continuing down the street as instructed by Derrell, soon coming across the construction site.

Parking the car along the side of the road, propped up on the curb to be out of the way from drivers, as the site had yet to make a parking lot, having big company vehicles scattered around the dirt roads. What was being constructed here was hard to tell at the moment, as the basic framework didn't tell much, but from large signs being posted around the edge of the property, it seemed to be a small plaza with multiple different businesses and restaurants.

Anthony and Clyde exited the vehicle and threaded through the loose sand and dirt, knowing by the end of this their shoes would be filthy. The workers here all looked the same with their signature uniforms on, a simple white shirt with a neon yellow vest on top, their heads covered with a hard hat and thick tool belts along everyone's hips.. the two detectives stood out for sure with their proper attire.

Anthony approached one of the male workers, clearing his throat to announce his presence, and the worker turned to help with whatever Anthony may need.

"Sorry to bother you, but have you seen two young ladies working here? One with, um-" Anthony tried to remember what Darrell had said about the girls' appearance, motioning for Clyde to take out his notepad to refresh his memory. Clyde quickly took out his notepad and handed it to Anthony, who flipped through the many filled pages to find his sloppy handwriting "Oh, one with black hair and piercings.. the other has brown hair and a tattoo along their arm" he finished his question.
