As soon as Friday opened her eyes, she realized they had just landed. "Home at last," she thought, feeling a surge of excitement."Excited to see Alex, Mel?" Friday teased, a small smile playing on her lips."Mhm!" Melanie replied, yawning from her sleep. As they left the flight, Friday recognized Alex, and Melanie didn't need prompting. She rushed into Alex's arms, hugging him tightly, with their son Marcus in tow. The family reunion was warm and joyful.Falling into step with Ian, Friday exclaimed, "Oh, thank God we're back in Australia! I finally have my life back.""I feel the same," Ian agreed."Hey, Alex!" Friday greeted."Friday, you look stunning! Congratulations!" Alex replied. "You guys should come over for dinner this Friday.""Sounds perfect!"I said, exchanging a grin with Melanie. As they headed to the parking lot, My expression turned puzzled. "Ian, don't tell me you got a car handler to ship our car?"Ian chuckled. "Just wait."my confusion deepened, but I waited patiently. Then, a sleek white Range Rover, the latest model, appeared.
"You're joking!" I asked, eyes wide."Nope, anything for you," Ian said with a wink."Never do that again, but keep opening doors for me," Friday smirked.Ian rolled his eyes, smiling, as Friday settled into her seat.
The car drive ws smooth Ian and Friday joking as they finally arrived at there mansion, it was know late and they were both tired.
"I'll unpack tomorrow" Friday mumbled as they settled in bed
Ian held her in his hands as they fell in a blissful sleep
Friday yawned waking up to Ian putting on his tie
Friday yawned, waking up to Ian tying his tie. "Good morning," he said, "I'm off to work. I'll be back by 5 for dinner with Mel."Friday nodded, pecking his lips goodbye as she waved him off. With a busy day ahead, she dove into her tasks: cleaning the house, making breakfast, getting ready, and finally settling in to tackle her work.
As Friday settled into her work, the morning sunlight streaming through the window illuminated her focused expression. She typed away on her laptop, occasionally sipping her steaming coffee. The quiet hum of the refrigerator and chirping birds outside created a soothing background melody.Hours flew by, and Friday took a short break to grab a snack from the kitchen. She smiled, thinking about tonight's dinner with Mel and Ian. Mel's infectious laughter and Ian's warm smile always made her feel grateful for their little family.Back at her desk, Friday's phone buzzed with an incoming text from Mel:"Hey, Fri! Can't wait for dinner tonight! What's on the menu?"Friday's fingers flew across the keyboard:"Hey, Mel! Ian mentioned something about your favorite lasagna. See you soon!"Their banter continued, filling Friday's afternoon with warmth and anticipation. As the clock struck 4:45, Friday saved her work and closed her laptop, feeling accomplished. She took a moment to freshen up before Ian's return. The door opened, and Ian walked in, wearing a tired but contented smile. "Hey, beautiful! How was your day?"Friday smiled, meeting him halfway for a gentle kiss. "Productive. How about yours"
"Busy"
"Oh is tomorrow fine to find the baby gender?" Friday asked grinning
'perfect, lets start getting ready, i'm gonna shower"
Friday nodded walking to her closet to find something casual for the night. She opted for a beige jumpsuit with white shoes
Ian emerged from the shower, dressed for the night, and flashed a charming smirk. "You look stunning, carrying my baby."I rolled my eyes, smiling. "Shut up, let's go."As we drove to Mel's house in our brand-new car, I couldn't help but feel proud to be by Ian's side.Mel's house took my breath away. "Grand" didn't begin to describe it – this was next level.Ian took my hand as we knocked on the door. Melanie squealed, "Friday!!" and enveloped me in a warm hug.In the living room, Alex greeted Ian with a handshake and a smile. "Ian, how are you?"As the boys chatted, they excused themselves upstairs with Marcus.Mel's attention turned to me, her eyes sparkling. "So, when are you finding out the baby's gender?"I laughed at her eagerness. "Tomorrow, but I'm not revealing it until the baby shower."Mel's face lit up. "What if I design your baby shower and give you the surprise of a lifetime?"Her enthusiasm was contagious, and I agreed."YAYYY!!!" Mel cheered, pumping her fist. The boys returned, curious. "What did I miss?" Alex asked, raising an eyebrow."I'm planning her baby shower," Mel announced.Ian chuckled. "I'm on board. Shall we have dinner?
