Yeji's parents knew something wasn't quite right the second the car pulled into the driveway.

Due to her crazy schedule, she hasn't had much time to go visit her family so when she got the news that she had a few days off, it seemed like a fun idea to go spend it with her parents and, of course, she wanted you to tag along with her.

Not just because she wanted to also be able to spend those few days with you but also because her parents adore you and she knew they'd never forgive her if you didn't tag along too.

But somewhere along the line on the trip there today, the excitement you both felt before faded and was replaced with annoyance and frustration.

Neither of you knew the reason why but you just couldn't seem to see eye to eye today and it was the worst possible time for that considering you'd be around her parents for a few days and what parents want to see their child unhappy and fighting with the love of their life so much?

When the car pulled up in front of her parent's home, you and Yeji got out and didn't say a word to each other as you grabbed your bags and walked up the driveway.

The smiles on her parents' faces were gone now when they saw that you and Yeji looked so unhappy.

"Yeji, Y/N, it's so good to see you both." Her mom grinned before she pulled Yeji into a hug while her dad pulled you in for one.

"What happened? You both sounded so happy on the phone earlier." Her dad said.

"We were." You sighed.

"And then she decided to be a pain in the neck," Yeji grumbled as she stepped into her parents' home.

"I decided to be?" You repeated with a scoff. "Oh, come on, Yeji. It wasn't that big of a deal."

"What's going on?" Her mom asked as she closed the front door behind the four of you.

"We woke up late. Somebody, I won't name names, forgot to set the alarm."

"It's very obvious who you're talking about considering there's only two of us in the house and it wasn't you." You said and folded your arms over your chest.

"You said it, I didn't." She spoke before raising her hands mockingly. "And then we woke up so late, we didn't have time to eat anything. We barely had time to brush our teeth before we had to go because we would've missed our flight otherwise."

"That doesn't seem like a big reason to be so upset with each other." Her dad said.

"Y/N said that she'd pack the chargers. She packed hers but guess what? She forgot mine. So now I have no way to charge my phone."

"We can always buy a new charger for you, Yeji. Heck, you can afford a thousand chargers if you needed!" You said, raising your voice slightly.

"It's not that I can, it's that everything has seemingly gone wrong today all because of you! Sometimes you annoy the absolute hell out of me!"

"Yeji," Her mom said as she reached out to place a hand on her daughter's shoulder, wordlessly telling her to watch her words so she didn't say anything she couldn't take back.

"I annoy you?" You asked before shaking your head in disbelief. "You barely spoke a word to me on the way here! And you know, you're not so perfect either. Why couldn't you set an alarm so I didn't forget? Why was it all on me when you're the one who wanted to come here for a few days? No offense to your parents because I love them but it was your idea, not mine. So why is it all on me?"

She folded her arms over her chest and glared at you.

"You're not perfect either! Sometimes, you annoy me too!"
