Unfortunate Events

Sasuke

"Get up! You've got school today!" I heard someone yell. Rolling over in bed I winced at the pain in my back. Itachi poked his head in the room, "Moms yelling. Get up before she gets the water." He said. I shuddered at the thought of her walking in here again and almost drowning me like she did one day long ago. Pushing my legs over the side of my bed I stifled a yawn then stretched. I was shirt less and my room seemed to only be ten degrees from Antarctica temperature but I didn't mind. My phone vibrated on my night stand, "Hello." I answered with an annoyed tone. "Wow Someone is in a bad mood." Came Sakura's voice from the other line.

I loved hearing her voice, it'd be something id love to fall asleep to and wake up to. "Yeah. Wish I had gotten more sleep. Watcha need?" I asked.
"Just calling to let you know ill be riding with Shikamaru this morning. Mom wants him to help me with a school thing." She said which caused me to frown.
"I'm sorry. But id love to ride home with you after school." She continued. I stayed quiet. "Sasuke-kun are you mad?" She asked. "No. I understand but I've got to go and get ready or else I'm going to be late." I mumbled.
Obviously she picked up on my mood but didn't say anything but, "Ok love you baby." Instead of replying I hit the end button and sat my phone back down on my nightstand. I need a shower and quick.

After I had changed into a pure black t-shirt and blue jeans with my black leather boots. Walking down the stairs I saw Itachi and Konan making out on the couch with no sign of mom any where. "Try to stop eating each others faces for two minutes and help me think of a good excuse " I said causing them both to slowly part. "Excuse for what?" Itachi asked as he raised an eyebrow.
"Your not selling drugs are you?" Konan asked. I glared at her, "Hn. No idiot. Just give me an excuse to use." I replide.
"Uh...I had to wash my pants?" Itachi said. Needless to say if looks could kill, Itachi would be six feet under. "Look I don't know just make something up." He said while turning back to Konan, shaking my head I walked out of the house and got to my car.

Driving down the road I was listening to Hollywood Undead when I saw a girl walking in the direction of the school. She wore a black backpack, White T-shirt with stone washed black jeans and a beany which allowed her long orange hair to flow over her shoulders. She looked tired and since I was heading toward the school I figured id give her a ride. Pulling up beside her I rowed down the window, "You need a ride? I'm going to the same place." She turned toward me with a glare and said, "Look pal I'm not a prostitute so go look for your sexual crap elsewhere." Then she started walking away, leaving me sitting there with my jaw hanging open. Shaking it off I drove beside her down the road, "Look. I'm not looking for that. My names Sasuke Uchiha and I was just asking if you wanted a ride to school." I said. Her large dark eyes widened, "Oh...oh my god I'm sorry Mr.Uchiha." She stuttered. "Don't be sorry and please don't call me that. That's my dad I'm just Sasuke Uchiha." I replide. She nodded then came around and jumped in the passenger seat.

I pulled away from the sidewalk and started toward the school again. "You pick up walking girls a lot Sasuke?" She asked. Shaking my head she laughed, "Wow Hollywood Undead! You've got good taste in music ill say that." She said with a smile. I turned it up and to my surprise she started singing along with the lyrics. I glanced over at this weird dancing girl who sat in the shot gun seat then smirked. Once we pulled up in the school parking lot she smiled, "Thanks For the ride Sasuke." She turned to get out but then turned toward me, "The names Tayuya by the way."
"Nice to meet you Tayuya." I said taking her hand and shook it. "See ya around." And with that She got out. I sat there watching her retreating form when there was a knock on my window. I got out and saw Ino looking at me with an eyebrow raised. "What?" I asked.
"Who was that?" She asked giving me a go to hell look. "A friend. But its none of your business." After that I left her standing there and walked inside to start this hectic day.

Sakura

'How rude. He didn't even reply!' My inner muttered. I sat my phone down and sighed, Sasuke must not be happy but I didn't see a reason for him to be mad. "Sakura your friends here!" Mom yelled from down stairs interrupting my thoughts. "Ok! Send him on up!" I yelled back. Yeah that's how we communicate in my house don't judge. I could hear the slow but steady thomps of his footsteps coming up the stairs until finally he appeared at the top with an annoyed look on his face. "Morning pineapple head." I said giving him a bright smile. He just sighed and slipped his hands into his pockets. "Right. I was wondering if you could help me with this stupid math." I said looking down at the notebook that sat on my dresser. He walked over took one look then sighed loudly, "This is so basic that its a drag." He mumbled.
"Oh come on Shik!! I need help please!" I whimpered while giving him my best doggy eyes. Again he sighed for like the hundredth time then scribbled a few things down and said, "There. Now they all are right. Your welcome." I smiled then hugged him. "Your the best Shik!!" I said. He nodded then backed up, "Why didn't Sasuke come help you?" He asked.

"Honestly your the first person who poped in my mind." I said blushing lightly. He didn't seem to really care he just shrugged then said, "Come on ill give you a ride." I nodded then got all my stuff together. Once I was downstairs I kissed mom then we were off. It took us a total of twenty minutes to get to school but once we did I only had time to barely make it to my first class before the bell rang. I sat toward the back so I had a perfect view of the outside and the board. The teacher started a slide show which bored me to no end. We ended up having to do like three worksheets, really fun(note sarcasm).

Finally during lunch I was happy id see Sasuke since I havnt seen him around all day. I sat at our usual table, Tenten and Neji sat on my left while Shikamaru and Hinata sat on my right leaving me to wonder where Sasuke, Naruto and Ino were. About ten minutes into lunch Sasuke and Naruto came walking in talking about the class they just came from. Sasuke sat on the other side of the table but nodded at me, something was wrong with him. "You ok?" I asked. He took my hand then nodded. "Sakura-chan! How much you wanna bet I can eat all of these!" Naruto asked while holding up a case of lava chocolate double chocolate chip brownies. I sweat dropped, "Uh...Naruto I think you may die if you eat them all at once." I said. He shook his head then I heard someone say, "Go for it dude." A girl with orange hair came walking up and sat on the other side of Sasuke. I looked at her and the longer I stared the more beautiful she got which made me start to feel bad about how I looked. What made it worse was that she was sitting by my boyfriend. "Alright here we go!!" Naruto cheered then he started to stuff brownies in his mouth, everyone but me was watching. Ino tapped me on the shoulder, "I need to talk to you." She said motioning for me to follow.

We walked outside where the rich and popular kids sat around the picnic tables. She turned toward me, "I think that girl in there is trying to get Sasuke." She said. I took notice of her slightly red puffy eyes and pale complexion. "I don't think so. She just sat down. It was the only seat left." I defended.
"Really so when she got out of Sasuke's car this morning it was because that was the only seat left huh?" Ino asked. 'Hold up! Sasuke let her ride with him to school this morning?' My inner asked. "She was with him this morning?" I asked looking her in the eye. "Yeah and when I asked Sasuke who she was he just said to stay out of his business." she muttered. I frowned, could Sasuke really be seeing this other girl? I didn't realize at the time just how things seemed until it went from bad to worse.
