Painful Disaster

Sakura

"Sasuke please let me explain!" I yelled after him. Once he reached his car he turned suddenly toward me. He said nothing but then again he didn't have to, his eyes said it all. Pure endless hurt and betrayal. "Sasuke let me explain. Kabuto said he'd kill you if I didn't kiss him." I said feeling tears start to fall down my cheeks. I know how it looked to him but I begged him to see it. "Please. I would never do something like that to you I love..." I started to say but the pure look of hatred he gave me stopped my words in my throat. "Goodbye." he growled, turning he got into his car and sped off leaving me standing there in the parking lot, crying like a little girl. I had just lost the man of my dreams and it hurt like hell, people always describe losing someone they love as bad but it felt like someone had ripped out my heart smashed it, glued it back together just to toss it into a wood chipper. People were staring and I know they probably thought I was over reacting but I couldn't think straight right now. 'Could this get any worse?' Inner said threw a hiccup. At that moment it decided to start pouring, least this way no one would be able to tell that I was still crying.

A car pulled up beside me, "Hey! Get in its Ino!" Tenten said from the slightly lowered window. I could see Neji in the passenger seat. I climbed in the back and sniffled, "Go ahead and put on my jacket." Tenten said, looking at me threw the rearview mirror. Her eyes said that we would have to talk later but for now I had to focus on my friend. To my surprise we wernt the only ones coming to see her, we walked into her room to see Lee, Kiba, Naruto and Hinata crowded around Ino's bed. When they saw me no one said a word, well of course Naruto did. "Sakura-chan! What's wrong with your face!?" He yelled. I glared at him but before I could say anything Tenten elbowed him. "What happened to her?" I asked looking at my pale friend. She didn't move, it took me a moment to even.see her breath. "Doctors said that she overdosed on some kind of prescription pills." Lee said.
"Yeah if not for Lee, Ino would had hit the floor. Luckily he caught her in time." Neji spoke for the first time. "They've given her something to help but I don't know..." Hinata said quietly.
"Hey? Where's Shikamaru and Sasuke?" Kiba asked which caused him to be glared at. Hearing his name made me cringe, he has every right to hate me. I hurt him badly, I'm such an idiot. I should had just kicked Kabutos ass right there. 'Yeah but if we did that no telling how many people you love would have gotten hurt.' Inner said. I thought about my friends who were right in front of me but with Sasuke here telling me it was going to be ok I just felt like dying.

Sasuke

I drove away leaving her standing there crying and right then and there I swore id never forgive myself for leaving her when she needed me most. But the picture of her kissing him continued to haunt my thoughts, which only pissed me off more. I drove out to a small spot at the nearby park to blow off steam, I needed to be alone. Sadly life had other plans. "You ok?" Came a voice from behind me. Shikamaru stood with his hands in his pockets staring at me with a bored gaze. "Stalking me?" I asked harshly. "No. I come here after school every day. You just happen to be in my spot." I was momentarily surprised by his answer. He walked over slowly as if testing to see if id go off on him again then sat beside me. "Wanna talk about it?" He asked, the last thing I wanted to do was have one of those stupid heart to heart conversations with another guy. "No." I replide, from the corner of my eye I could see him shrug.

We sat there in unnerving silence for a couple more minutes until he said, "Your mad about me helping Sakura this morning right?" I looked over at him then shook my head, "No. I get that you had to help her. I had nothing against her hanging out with her friends." I said.
"Then what's made you so angry. Obviously it has to do with Sakura." He said, I let out a long sigh. "Yeah it does but its none of your business. Me and her arnt a thing anymore." I said, even.though I had just admitted that I had broken up with her aloud it still didn't feel real. "So you dumped her?" He asked, gee this guy is slower then what I thought. I nodded then frowned, Sakura was no longer mine...I told myself and it hurt like hell. "What'd she do to cause that? Because just this morning she was in love with you. Like undying love." Shikamaru said while facing me.
