𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 3 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 12: 3𝐫𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐩𝐭 3 - - ┈┈∘┈˃̶༒˂̶┈∘┈┈ - - "𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 wounds, bite indentations, scratch marks on his face, hands and arms all indicate that he was involved in the murder and abduction of Katie and Lindsey." Hotch says informing the team.
"He's just a teenager." Payton says.
"So were the Lords of Chaos. Three teenagers bewitched by a boy named Kevin Foster. Kevin persuaded his friends to murder their own high school teacher." Emily quips.
"Social dynamics of teenage boys. In this case, intoxicated by drugs and alcohol. When worked up into a frenzy by a dominant male, the adolescent mind can be pushed past when the adult mind perceives as acceptable." Rossi explains.
"What started out as a good time quick devolved, and Katie fell victim to the violent, drunken rage of a juvenile gang." Hotch says.
"We believe this UnSub got scared and wanted out." Rossi says pointing to the picture of the dead boy.
"And the dominant male, in order to maintain control, attacked him." Hotch says as Spencer comes into the room.
"Douglas Silverman, he's 18 years old." Spencer says as he walks over to put the picture on the board.
"We need to interview kids in his class. Parents, teachers. Find out who his friends were." Hotch instructs.
"It's at least two or more boys. One older, early to mid 20s." Rossi says.
"He'll think of himself as a real badass. Somebody who broke the rules, defied the system." Derek says turning around.
"And have flunked or gotten kicked out of high school. Possibly the same one." Callie comments leaning against a desk.
"He'll also have a record. Petty theft. Larceny." Emily adds on.
"Well, Douglas Silverman's been missing for two days. How come no one's called?" Payton asks.
"It's a three day weekend. His parents are out of town or he calls, says he's okay." JJ tells Payton as he turns to face her.
"And now that the weekend's over I can tell you with what's happened, it's going to end violently." Hotch informs. - - ┈┈∘┈˃̶༒˂̶┈∘┈┈ - -
𝐀 few moments later Callie and Hotch make their way to a construction site where Mr Silverman, Douglas Silverman's father, works. Hotch takes off his sunglasses and puts them away whilst Callie for the meantime puts them on top of her head.
"How can I help you?" Mr Silverman says as he comes down some stairs.
"Mr Silverman?" Hotch asks as the two agents approach.
"Yeah."
"I'm SSA Hotchner. This is SSA Sanchez. Is there someplace we can talk?" Hotch asks as he shows his credentials.
"Yeah, we can talk here." Mr Silverman replies.
"It would be better if we.." Callie suggests but Mr Silverman cuts her off.
"What's this about?"
"It's about your son, Doug." Hotch says.
"My son, Doug?"
"When was the last time you spoke to him?" Hotch asks and Mr Silverman shakes his head.
"Hang on, I can call him for you. Here."
"Sir, he's not going to answer. Sir" Hotch says as he dials the phone.
"No. No, no, no . He wouldn't do this." Mr Silverman defends.
"He did what he was told to do." Callie replies.
"Whoa. Wait. What was he told? I mean, Doug is a real shy guy, okay? He doesn't make friends easy." Mr Silverman asks looking at Callie.
"Has he changed, recently? Become a little more defiant? His grades slipping?" Hotch asks.
"I thought it was just a phase."
"A phase that was manipulated by someone who targeted your son for his own needs." Callie explains as Mr Silverman begins to cry and Callie looks at him sadly.
"Did he ever mention anyone to you?" Hotch asks.
"Oh, God. A couple of months ago, there was this older kid. And I said invite him over for supper. And he didn't want to. Brian? Ryan? I don't know. Oh, God. How am I going to tell his mom?" Mr Silverman nods. - - ┈┈∘┈˃̶༒˂̶┈∘┈┈ - - "𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤'𝐬 taken off." Callie says as her and Hotch get out of the car and walk towards the others.
"We heard." Derek replies.
"Where's he going to go? He can't know where Lindsey is." Payton says.
"No, but he might know who's got her." Hotch says.
"How?" JJ asks.
"You showed Bruce Owen Doug's photo,right?" Hotch asks and Derek replies.
"He recognised him."
"Which means he knows who Doug's friends are." Hotch comments.
"So, now he's sent a psychopath after his daughter's killer." Derek points out.
"Unfortunately." Callie replies.
"Garcia's got a name. Ryan Phillips, 28." Emily says with her phone to her ear.
"Let's get a unit over to Philips' house before Jack turns up there." Hotch instructs.
"One things for sure, we know Ryan won't be there." Rossi states.
"We'd better figure out where he is before Jack does." Aaron responds and the team begin to but their vests on, Callie puts it on over her black v neck long sleeve.
"Three day weekend, you've got to find a secure, private location. Where?" Hotch asks.
"Army of cops and Feds all over town, it's going to be real hard." Derek points out.
"Every abandoned building, warehouse, lock ups, it's all been searched." JJ says tying her hair back into a ponytail.
"Hey, it seems Jack just paid a kid named Taylor Coleman a visit. Paramedics are working on him now." Payton informs coming over.
"Reid. Good news, please." Hotch says as her and answers his cell.
"Reid. Where is he. I'll meet you there. And, Reid, be careful." Hotch says as he comes off the phone.
"Mayfield High School." He says and everyone starts moving getting into the car. - - ┈┈∘┈˃̶༒˂̶┈∘┈┈ - - 𝐀𝐧 hour later Jack kills Ryan in-front of Lindsey and she's okay and saved. They all head back to Quantico and soon they head home early.
