Kyle was a different guy who would agree he's just an ordinary one. He does skateboard, cooks food and plays a guitar is his whole day every day. This girl, Jane would always be in his side, hanging out to some skating park or going out in a cafe. Life was good and peaceful, being any ordinary guy out there is what he enjoyed. Just not long before after there's a new family in town. Among hearing all the whispers and gossips with the new neighbor, it's surprisingly just 4 feet away from Kyle's house. That day, Kyle and Jane sits on the bench in the playground they also hung out after taking walks or something else. Kyle plays with his guitar while Jane listens him sing.
"When will we ever see that new dude in town? I heard he hasn't been out in his house for days after his family moved in." Said Jane, her dyed dark blue hair with natural hair growing out flowing to the wind. Kyle stopped strumming his guitar.
"I'm pretty sure he's just scared. Plus we might see him once his family transferred him to our school." Said Kyle as he plays with his guitar.
"Yeah, he should know about more of this town. It has chaos 24/7 and apparently, most kids hates people who's this shy and no social in life." Jane said with scoffed as she crossed her arms in disbelief.
"Hey, give him a chance a'ight? It's like this in first glance in this town I'm sure he'll fit in quickly or slow." Kyle said as he rests his back on the bench and looks up in the sky.
"Besides give him time to learn more about this neighborhood. I'm sure a few kids here and there would like him after all." Said Kyle, grunting when he stretched his back after having a slouch position for a long time.
"Right." Jane emotionlessly replied as they fall into silence. Making Kyle strum his guitar to break the tensing walls between their conversation.
The next day
"Kyle!" Jane yelled from afar, her shoes we're quite loud which caught Kyle's attention through the hallways, she fixes her black leather jacket to cover her black tube top.
"Sup Jane! I thought you have class?" Kyle said, wondering why is she still not in class.
"We should meet up after school I have a huuggeeee gossip to tell you about." Jane stretched out her words to make think it's a long long conversation to talk with.
"Jane-" Kyle interrupted himself and lets out a sigh.
"Sure, I had nothing to do after school anyways." Kyle drifted off his second thoughts and hesitated, making Jane smiled in amusement.
"That's why you're my bro." Said Jane elbowing him in the ribs.
"Yeah yeah." Kyle said with a scoff as they walk together to their class.
After class
"What do you wanna talk about?" Said Kyle, looking bored. His hand resting on his cheek to his chin while he looks at the window while his other fidgets his hoodie strings.
"Hear me out, it's about the new kid." Said Jane with a ready to look to explain what she had heard about.
"You'd already heard a lot about him? That dude was just in this town for 5 days!" Said Kyle, his eyes darting to Jane in shock.
"Exactly. Which was right. Now I'm sure he's going to truly reveal himself out of the crowd once he got into his first day." Jane said, their conversation interrupted a bit when the barista went to their table and place their milkshakes down and left.
"How are they that fast to know more about the new kid? Poor dude, he already has no set of privacy!" Kyle exclaimed from Jane's response and slap his hands lightly on the table.
"Told ya, that's how easy chaos goes around here. One news it's heard all over town. This is how nosy our neighbors are." Said Jane with a scoff.
"Should we tell Guienivere?" Said Kyle, leaning to his straw to take a sip of his blueberry milkshake.
"What's the point she must've heard it." Jane said, following to drink her milkshake aswell.
"But isn't more better for Guienivere to know more? She doesn't socialize much anyways." Said Kyle, his eyes darting to his sides.
"Maybe, maybe not. It's up to you." Said Jane as she rests on the cushy seat.
"It's getting late." Kyle said, staring at the window to glance at the sky.
"Wanna catch up to my house and hang out more till 7? No mall right now I have no money." Kyle said with a grin and leaned to his straw aswell to finish his milkshake.
"Oh yeah? Whoever finish their milkshake first has $20." Jane dared with a smirk.
Kyle looked up at Jane and smirked back.
Three...two...one...GO!!
After that brain-freezing and cold throat game, the two of them got a tie and no one had gotten the $20. Sucks. On their way to Kyle's house, talking and walking. They met up with some unfamiliar kid in the backyard of Kyle's house while sneaking.
"Hey, is that the new kid?" Jane pointed at the kid, making Kyle smack her hand down for mannerisms as they quietly sneak up to the fence, stalking the kid.
"Oh yeah, it is the new kid." Kyle whispered to Jane, trying to be quiet as possible to not be heard.
"Why the heck...."
"What...?"
