As they arrived on the scene, Raj came out of the house ignoring the warnings by the others and guided them through the locality, his eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of the predator. "We need to act fast," one of the wildlife officials said, his voice firm with authority. "The longer the leopard roams free, the greater the risk to the villagers." With a coordinated effort, the team set out into the darkness, their eyes peeled for any movement in the underbrush. With a low growl, the leopard stumbled and fell, its movements slowing as the tranquilizers took effect. Raj Biswas breathed a sigh of relief as the team secured the tranquilized animal, ensuring it posed no further threat to the village.
