Next morning, Raj Biswas and Naresh Dutta walked out from Anil's humble abode, their hearts full of gratitude for the kindness shown to them. Stepping outside, they were met with a chorus of thanks and appreciation from the villagers, their warm smiles melting away some lingering traces of the past shadows.

"Thank you, Raj Babu, for bringing justice to our village," an elderly man said, his voice tinged with respect. Raj nodded graciously, his eyes scanning the faces of the villagers gathered around them. "It was our duty to help," he replied humbly, acknowledging the outpouring of gratitude. Amidst the crowd stood a smiling old woman, her eyes twinkling with admiration as she approached Raj, a red pashmina shawl clutched in her hands. With reverence, she wrapped it around Raj's shoulders, a symbol of respect for his noble deeds. Raj and Naresh bowed their heads, and touched her feet in gratitude, offering a heartfelt "pranaam" to the lady.

Children giggled as they approached, their tiny hands reaching out to shake Raj and Naresh's hands. Anil and his wife stood nearby, their faces radiant with appreciation as they bid farewell to their newfound friends. "Thank you for everything, Mr. Das," Biswas said warmly, clasping Anil's hand in his own. "We'll never forget your hospitality." Anil smiled warmly, his eyes glistening with emotion. "You're always welcome here, Mr. Biswas," he said sincerely. "May you always be blessed. With heartfelt farewells exchanged, Raj and Naresh entered into the waiting taxi, the engine humming to life as they began their journey back to Siliguri. As they drove away, Raj couldn't help but steal a final glance at the village and its lush surroundings, a pang of longing tugging at his heartstrings.

As the taxi slowly rolled away from Jalapuranagar, Raj sat by the window, his gaze lingering on the villagers gathered along the roadside, their hands raised in farewell. With a smile, he waved back, his heart warmed by the genuine affection of the people he had come to know. As the taxi gained speed, Raj's thoughts turned to the dense forest that was slowly fading from view. The cold, foggy air whispered through the trees, enveloping the landscape in an ethereal haze. Raj Biswas couldn't help but marvel at the beauty that surrounded him, from the towering trees to the myriad creatures that called the forest home. But amidst the wonder, a pang of sadness tugged at Raj's heart as he thought of the risks and hardships faced by the villagers every day. He turned to Naresh, his voice tinged with concern. "It's incredible how these people live in harmony with nature," he remarked, his eyes scanning the passing scenery. "But it's also a constant struggle, isn't it?"

Naresh nodded solemnly, his gaze fixed on the road ahead. "Yes, dada," he replied, his voice tinged with empathy. "Every day is a battle against the threat of wild animals."

Raj sighed, his thoughts drifting back to the villagers they had left behind. "I hope there will now be peace," he said softly, his heart heavy with emotion. "They deserve nothing less." Naresh nodded in agreement, his gaze fixed on the passing scenery. "Yes, but we carry the memories with us," he replied, his tone reflective. "And the knowledge that we've made a difference."

As they journeyed onwards, the conversation turned to their plans for the day ahead, the anticipation of returning home mingling with the bittersweet nostalgia for the village they were leaving behind.

Suddenly, thetranquility of the moment was interrupted by the sight of two majestic peacockswalking along the roadside, their vibrant plumage a stunning contrast againstthe verdant backdrop. Naresh grabbed his phone, eager to capture the moment."Look at them, dada," heexclaimed, snapping a quick picture. "Nature's wonders never cease toamaze." Raj Biswas smiled, his heart buoyed by the simple beauty of thescene. "Indeed, Naresh babu,"he replied, "And though we leave this place behind, its spirit will alwaysremain in our hearts." Though they were leaving behind the beauty of theforest, their experiences had left an indelible mark on their souls, a reminderof the delicate balance between humanity and nature.
