Vaneesha's POV

After the video finished, Chachu closed the iPad and smiled.

Why is he smiling?

"You did a great job, Vedant. I'm proud of you."

Ved just nodded.

My mouth fell open. What the hell just happened? I thought he'd get scolded, and here he is getting praise.

Soumya Chachi looked at me.
"You don't have to be astonished. Both father and son are the same. They love to do violence when someone tries to do something with their family. Get used to it."

I sat there like a dumb.

"I'm proud of you. A Rathore should be like this. You deserve a reward. Tell me what you want." Dadu said.

"Nothing," he said without looking at him.

Iss bande ki problem kya hein? Reward de rehe hein. Ye bhi nehi chahiye isse.
(What is this guy's problem? He is rewarding him. He doesn't even want this.)

"You also did good, Vaneesha. No one should  stand like a coward in this type of situation." Shreyansh Chachu said.

"Bhaisa nehi aate to ye khud hyi usse marna chalu kar deti." Maliah said.
(If Bhaisa did not come, she would have started killing him herself.)

Then Soumya chachi said.
"By the way, wo thappar wala scene mast tha."
(That slap scene was awesome.)

And then everyone started laughing except one. You know who.

After the dinner, we all go back to our rooms.

I changed into my nightwear. I stopped wearing my shorts after coming here. This house and my home are different.

Suddenly my phone pinged. I took my phone and found a notification from Ved.

I opened the text.

Ved:Come to the terrace.

Isse abh kya chahiye?
(What does he want now?)

Me:Why?

He saw the message instantly, and my phone started ringing.

It's from him.

I received the call.
"Hello."

"Come to the terrace right now." He shouted and cut the call.

Ye pakka mujhe gusse mein kha jayga abh.
(He will eat me up in anger)
