I woke up, and opened my eyes only to stare at wall thinking about my parents because they have not showed up for month and half, normally they are at the house every month to bring food supplies which only lasts me three weeks even if I take one meal per day or they get home to get high or drunk.
With that I get out from bed to make my way to the washroom and do my business and I get changed into a pair shorts and t shirt I only 5 pairs of clothing which are from thrift store or from the lost and found box at school. And check the time it reads 7:00 my schools starts at 8, and takes me half an hour to reach there.

So, I Grab my skateboard which my best friend Noah gifted me before moving, and suddenly the bell rang and I went to open and peeked through the hole and saw two officers standing there,
I opened the door and “hello how may I help you” I said softly
The lady officer said “I am officer Chen and this is officer Bradford, Are you Raven Williams”
“Yes I am” I said softly
“Oh sweetheart I am sorry inform you that you that your adoptive parents passed away last night” said officer Chen.
I looked in her eyes and she expected me to breakdown but I didn’t had any tears for them, “Adopted parents” I said
She looked at me and said “Yes you were adopted your mother left you at orphanage behind your father who didn’t know about it, now that we checked the system and found out have a father who's willing to take you in”
I stare at her trying to get the newly found information and then she said go “honey go pack your clothes and necessity items with you we need to go to the station” and I nodded I told them come in and in the dusty and moldy living room and I went to my room and took out an old bag pack to put all my clothes, my bunny, and my library borrowed books, I took my skateboard and went outside
Officer Chen asked “Is that all”

Time skip to the Station
I have been in the station for about 2 hour they took DNA to confirm and then a pretty blond lady comes “Hello, dear I am Ava Alison your social worker” and she forwarded me her hand to shake I shook her hand
