to say amariah was glad to be back in london would be an understatement, she was absolutely thrilled to be back.

even though london had its downsides, the weather for example, it was still home to her.

nia and kenza picked her up from the airport, they had to go on a quick catchup before they would let amariah rest at home.

they brought her to a small cafe called lali.
it was definitely a hidden gem, tucked in london.

"so. spill." nia tapped the table on each word.

"right so, me and lamelo, broke up unofficially though. so glad he didn't come for his flight today, he must have got an early flight back."

"yeah most likely, he was always so weird, can't believe he did that." kenza said, scanning over the menu.

"i'm so glad y'all finally broke up, i been trying to warn you!! nia sighed.

"you did?" kenza looked up, surprise flickering across her face.

"girl, i used to date him in secondary school." she sighed. "he did the same shit with me, it wasn't this bad though, but it did ruin my reputation for a bit."

kenza looked at amariah shocked, almost like it was her fault that she didn't know this vital piece of information.

"really?" she whispered. "fill me in."

"i'll give a quick rundown, lamelo moved from usa to here. a downgrade i know. i had a crush on him and asked him out, we dated for a year and when we broke up he told everyone i was a weirdo and a freak. and that my head game was bad. thennnn he started dating amariah"

kenza gasped. "what? and how long were you two dating for amariah?"

"2-3 years? i think."

"wow."

the girls all ordered something small, they weren't here for a big meal.

amariah scrolls on her phone while the two girls get to properly know each other, she checks her email.
