AMARIAH'S POV:

they finally landed in marebella, at the airport they were met by a man in his 30s holding up the sign saying "the ordinary brand trip" they were told to follow him,

the group exchanged excited glances.

the man led them to a row of sleek, black cars waiting just outside the airport. as they loaded up, each guest was handed a refreshing drink to kick off the journey to their hotel. the drive took them along scenic coastal views,

upon arrival at the luxurious hotel, they were greeted by staff who welcomed them with smiles and offered cool towels and more refreshments

they were told they would be sharing rooms with their plus ones.

nia was sharing with kenza, and amariah was sharing with aurelia.

their rooms were adjacent to each other, which meant late night gossip sessions.

aurelia was upacking her luggage into her wardrobe while amariah lay on the bed scrolling through social media.

"did you look through the itinerary" aurelia asks, folding a white shirt.

"yep, it looks interesting. we have a cocktail party on the rooftop tonight"

"really?" aurelia closed over her first suitcase, putting it under the bed.

"yep, but we have to wait for the spanish arrivals, their driving up i think" amariah rolled over, so that her back was facing aurelia.

"that's so cool."

there was a knock at the door, it was kenza and nia

nia lay next to amariah and kenza sat at the vanity desk, moving her chair to face the group.

"guess what nia found out."

"what?"

"fine shyt is gonna be here " nia teased.

amariah scoffed. "it's so annoying when you use that word."

"it's so funny, i can't help it" she rolled her eyes.

"who are you girls on about?" aurelia brought out a dress from her wardrobe, trying to reorganise it.

"the barca team, like the wholeeeee team" nia smiled.

"really" aurelia raised her eyebrow in shock.

"looks like you guys didn't read the letter they sent us. everyone knew that." she rolled over again, her face facing the ceiling.

"also elrinã told me to let you know that she's going to make it here."

"what really?" aurelia screamed.

amariah nodded, she was glad her sister had someone to hang out with on this trip, so that she wasn't stuck with them.

HECTOR FORT'S POV:

the drive was a long 11 hours, the rest of the boys were hyped and excited, especially lamine and alejandro.

héctor had been quiet for most of the drive, thinking about what had happened between him and camila last night.

she came to his house unexpected after their breakup, as much as he didn't like to admit, he did miss her.

even though he told the boys other wise.

they made out in almost every possible location in his apartment. and then they had a massive argument.

he knew it was going to be awkward when he saw her again, especially since it was going to be so soon, in just a few hours.

he wasn't going to apologise because he knew he wasn't in the wrong, she always did this shit to him.

they had both cheated on each other, different days. Camila did it first, and joao suggested he was to do it back.

"hector? you good bro?" alejandro whispered.

hector nodded. "sí."

alejandro shook his hand. "let me know if anything's wrong."

he honestly didn't want to go on this trip, it felt stupid to him.

but the boys promised that they would make it fun.

well joao's way of making it fun would probably be hooking up with a few girls, no feelings attached.

lamine would go to an arcade or something, take instagram pictures since he was such an ig warrior.

and ale's way of making it fun? hector wasn't sure, ale made everything funny.

AMARIAH'S POV:

the girls were getting ready together in aurelia and amariah's room, music on full blast, windows open.

a bit of karaoke to spice up the night.

"should we take shots before we go?" nia suggested, taking the hair rollers out of her hair.

"no. i need to be sober tonight." amariah dabbed at her face with a beauty blender, blending the product around her face before spraying setting spray and coughing quietly.

"how come?" kenza asked, she was changing into her dress.

"networking kenza, you should know this" she gently shook her head in disbelief.

"well me and aurelia don't need to network, so we can take shots then." nia smiled, pouring herself a shot of vodka.

"where did you get that from?"

"the guy at the front desk gave it to me for free"she smiled, taking her shot. she tried not to make a bitter face at the end but failed

"i need to get better at that." she passed aurelia the bottle.

"i'll take it a bit later with elrinã" aurelia smiled

"suit yourself" nia shrugged, putting the cap back on the bottle and setting it on the table.

kenza began singing along, slightly off-key to 'birds of a feather' by billie eilish.

while amariah was trying to contain her smile, since it would make her makeup crease easier.

"now this is girlhood." amariah had just finished settting her making with fixing spray.

she was right, this was the girlhood amariah had always wished for as a kid, getting ready with her sister and her best friends for whatever the night may hold.
