after coming back from the match they were all wrecked, the transport from the stadium to their hotel was long.

last night, around 2 am, lamelo received and email confirming his signing with the NBA team.

he was officially part of them.

he woke up amariah as soon as he got the news, not even giving her time to process her disrupted sleep.

"amariah wake the fuck up."

sleepy, and confused rubbed her eyes, trying to make sense of time.

"hm?" she mumbled, half focused on his face.

"I just got the email! I'm officially signed with the NBA!" he announced, a wide grin spreading across his face.

amariah smiled, it made him look like a little kid again, she knew he worked unbelievable hard for this.

"we're leaving in 2 days, the flights are booked."

"2 days? where to?" she asked.

that hit amariah like a bullet, leaving to a whole new country, a whole new continent in 2 days. she couldn't go, not when she had a life already built in london

she was in her first year of college here, she couldn't move, it would be so much hassle settling in.

how would she break it to him? he would be so upset, he would be disappointed in her and she didn't want him to think of her differently

she didn't want him to think she wasn't supporting him, but she had her own life to support aswell.
