The red sky bathed the DEO’s interior in an eerie glow as Alex fought to maintain order. Her heart raced with the weight of responsibility pressing down on her shoulders.

“I want every available agent in the field until we get a handle on whatever this thing is,” she commanded, her voice firm as she communicated through the comms. Kara, J'onn, and Brainy stood resolutely by her side, ready for whatever chaos lay ahead.

Just then, a blinding flash ignited the room, and Harbinger materialized before them. Instinctively, the chill of surprise rippled through the ranks of DEO agents, adrenaline surging as they drew their weapons, taking aim at the newcomer.

“Hey, face down on the floor. Now!” Alex shouted, stepping forward, gun trained on the mysterious woman. Her eyes narrowed, unwilling to lower her guard.

“Did you do this? Did you destroy Argo?!” Kara’s voice, fierce and demanding, cut through the tension, but Harbinger remained silent, her expression unreadable.

In an instant, another pulse of light erupted in the middle of the DEO, revealing a group of familiar faces: Clark, Lois, Oliver, Mia, Laurel, and Kate. They emerged from the illumination like a breath of fresh air in the chaos.

Kara’s anger dissolved the moment she spotted her family. Relief washed over her as she rushed forward, throwing her arms around Clark and Lois. “Thank you, Rao. You’re okay,” she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.

“Thanks to her.” Lois gestured toward Harbinger, her eyes filled with gratitude. “She appeared at the last second and brought us here.”

“We sent Jonathan off in an escape pod,” Lois added, her tone shifting to one of concern.

“And my mother?” Kara’s voice wavered as the question hung heavily in the air, her heart already bracing for the answer. She knew, deep down, if her mother were alive, she would be right there, assuring her that everything would be okay. The silence that followed spoke volumes.

"I'm so sorry, Kara," Clark said, pulling his cousin into a tight embrace. The warmth of the moment enveloped them, a rare comfort amidst the chaos surrounding them. Kara returned his hug with equal fervor, grateful for the connection—Clark was her anchor, the one person she could truly hug with her true strength.

"Kara? Where are we?" Kate's voice broke through the embrace, laced with confusion. Her gaze darted around the unfamiliar landscape, taking in the strange faces surrounding her, with only Kara and Oliver feeling familiar.

"Um... You're on Earth-38," Kara replied, stepping back from the hug.

“That rabbit was about to talk,” Kate muttered, an edge of irritation creeping into her tone, looking toward Harbinger.

"This one speaks to rabbits," Brainy whispered to J'onn, who chuckled softly, understanding well that Kate's frustration about an actual rabbit, at least he hopes so.

"It's okay," Kara said gently, her smile a beacon of reassurance. "We’re all on the same side."

"Are we?" Kate challenged, eyebrow raised as she surveyed the group again. "Because I don’t know them."

"But you know me," Kara replied, her expression warm and encouraging. "And if you were brought here with all these other heroes, it’s probably because we need you. I trust everyone in this room with my life. Including you."

With a resigned sigh, Kate pulled off her cowl, the weight of uncertainty lifting slightly. "Well, I guess you all can call me Kate."

Mia stepped forward, nervously tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “Uh, hi, I’m Mia. I’m Oliver’s daughter.” Her voice trembled slightly as she waved to the gathered heroes, feeling woefully underdressed compared to their impressive suits.
