Many years have passed now it all began. Inuyasha and Serena pushed each other to their very limits and their best. Inuyasha had become very successful in college.
Serena worked super hard herself, though she graduated one year before him. The two of them stayed pretty close together no matter what, they eventually rented out an apartment room instead of a dorm room, the two of them were super close as can be they barely held any secrets from each other. The two worked super hard and managed to surprised people.
Serena went to get a job as soon as she was out of college. She managed to get something suitable for the meantime. As Inuyasha was in the last year of his college he was smart and charming and handsome, he captured the hearts of many, he got rewards and did amazing things at college, but then he left with the highest honors.
So, Safe to say the two set out and made their goals become real. Serena had gotten herself some nice riding clothes, Inuyasha and Her both went out biking now together.

She and Inuyasha never thought about what kind of life they'd have together, but they've basically have been dating but not calling it that, even though they were pretty much a couple, and they were never apart from each other than when they were working to pay off their college debt.
Miroku told him to forget about Kagome and the past, and just move on, Serena was a good match for him, and she brought out the best side of him, and she helped him shine, it was time to let go of high school and move forward. And for once Inuyasha took the advice and he barely mentioned her name anymore, he didn't care if he spotted her or saw her or a blink second or two on the street or friends mentioning her name, he wasn't bugged by it anymore.
Serena was basically the same way as him. The girls would bring up how Darien is doing and how he left college, and that he seems to be just fine. Serena never seems to care much anymore, she just said that's good to hear. She still once in a while with help from studying would meet up with them from time to time and they'd study together like old times.
Rei still hated Inuyasha a lot, but that's because she hated being rejected. But the girls did talk a lot about him, and how hot he is, and what the sex was like with him? Serena told them stories and it made them all feel hot or jealous on some of them. But they have dated their own share of different men from time to time.
So, as it was finally after all these years. 4 years later. Had come. Like I said.
Inuyasha was on his way to success in the business world, and he and Kagome met a few times, and they were close but not together. Kagome had never found another guy like Inuyasha. or someone who treated her like he did, but she did feel jealous from the times she catches sight of Serena and Inuyasha together.
Sango and Miroku were super close together now. As they would meet up for dinner with Inuyasha and Serena from time to time over the years.
Inuyasha however did get lucky and during one of his trips that he too, he managed to get super lucky he wasn't even trying to find it, but he and his team got lost, and the small plane crashed and he was forced to find a way to survive, he and one other man survive, the owner of the plane, and he was head of the business, Inuyasha saved his life, but during the time he was forced to find woods and water and some food for them to survive, and light a fire to signal for help.
