The New Makeup Artist...K. Taehyung

Y/N's POV

It's my first day at BigHit, I've been applying to be a makeup artist for one of the K-pop companies for months, and it is finally here! "Ma, I'm here I have to go now, I'll talk to you when I get off...ok I love you too, bye!" I walk forward not necessarily looking in the direction I'm walking and bump into a stranger.

"Ah....I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking" I apologize and pick up the papers he dropped and hand them to him. I look up at him and feel a chill go down my spine. He's looking at me with such a boxy smile and I can't help but do the same. "It's ok, we all do that at some point or another, I'm Kim Taehyung, and you?"

I smile up at him, "I'm Y/N, nice to meet you Kim Taehyung." I look down at my watch, my eyes widen, "And I'm going to be late, again, I'm so sorry!" I run off, I get into the office I'm supposed to be in and I'm met with two people who seem to be the Bosses/Managers and 7 men, that includes Mr. Kim Taehyung. I feel myself blush and then I bow and take my seat in front of the men.

"Ok, everyone is here, boys I would like for you to meet Y/N, she is the new makeup artist. Y/N, these are the boys." Everyone introduces and I feel myself being floored at the fact that I will be working alongside these very handsome men. "Hopefully, you wont get scared off like the others, we know we can be a bit of a handful." Namjoon says, nudging the others next to him. I laugh and say "It won't be an issue. I have been training for this for years. I look forward to working alongside you all."

The bosses pull me aside, I look back at the men and see that they are looking at me too. We walk to another office and am told that I will have 2 assistants and they should be in soon. They catch me up on the performances and music videos coming up, and how I have to come up with makeup concepts for the men. "Yes sir, I have no problem doing any of those tasks, I will be doing my research and bring the concepts to you within two weeks. I just need to know what the main idea is behind the upcoming Music video?"

They tell me the music video is based off their song fake love and how it has light gothic tones to it. "Ok, may I talk with the men about their vision for the video to gather more information?" I asked them and they nod, they let me know that I will be working directly with them and the 7 men for concepts and hair styling, so I should get their numbers and know them better. I nod and walk back into the room with the seven that are still sitting in their seats, talking amongst each other.

"Hey Y/N, can I just say you're very beautiful" Jungkook says as I take my seat in front of them, I blush a bit and smile. "Thank you Jungkook...." I smile and continue, "I know you have a music video coming up, the song is fake love and I just wanted some insights for the makeup and hair concepts" I open my journal and begin to write down their thoughts, "ok so what I need from you all, I'm going to go down the line and ask you individually what the clothing concept is for the MV and then your thought on makeup and hair, is that ok?" They all nod and I start with a broad shouldered man with pitch black hair, who I assumed is Jin, "Ok Jin, what are your clothing options for the video?" He tells me and after him I continue on to Namjoon.

Kim Taehyung's POV

I look at Y/N and I'm admiring at how professional she can be, it's admirable. She is so focused, so driven, and seems to be the same age as us, well me...I can't help but keep my eyes on her. She is beautiful for sure, and certainly caught the attention of the group, especially Jungkook. Gosh, what was the whole point of being flirty straight away. I wish I was like that...but I'm not, I get shy and end up letting go of opportunities.

I rest my head on my hand, still keeping my eyes on her, I can't turn away, well I don't want to turn away... "Ok lastly, Taehyung, what are your clothing choices for the fake love music video?" She asked me, my heart started to race, I don't know why, it's not she asked me on a date. I tell her my choices and she writes it all down on a new page in her notebook. She nods at me and says "Ok, so I think for you we can darken the outer corners of your eyes and make your hair sort of fluffy and shaggy like we will do for Jin, how does that sound?" She looks straight into my eyes, her stare is soft and kind. "Y-yeah that sounds fine, sounds good actually" I say and mess with the hole that is on my jeans under the table.
