** Hein POV **

I just woke up because my elemental companion here is starving. I groaned as I felt something heavy around my waist.

Huh?

Heavy?

As far as I know, I didn't let anyone into my room without my permission. And Ley knows that.

How could—?

I stopped when something felt strange. I opened my eyes and found myself stunned.

"Mmm..." someone murmured.

Then it held me even tighter, and that's when I realized who it was.

I cringed.

The one and only Stanlee Grim Robertson.

Yeah, I know he's adorable, like a baby.

I chuckled softly.

I shifted slightly to grab my phone from the table beside me, aiming to take a picture of him.

A grin spread across my face, but just as I sensed him stirring, he suddenly snatched my phone away from me.

"No!"

That phone is personalized and a top-secret. I can't afford to lose it—I'm tired of building another one from scratch.

I don't buy gadgets since I prefer designing and making them myself.

He groaned as he scrolled through the photos, and I couldn't help but chuckle at how cute he looked.

He was about to delete them when I rolled over on top of him and snatched my phone back.

"H-Hey!" he muttered, shooting me a devilish, cold glare.

I laughed again, fully aware of my position—on top of him. That's when I felt something stirring beneath me, and I decided it was time to get off the bed and hide my phone from him.

But before I could move, he grabbed me and pressed me into his bare chest.

Great.

He's only wearing boxers, but I don't really care—I'm used to this sleeping arrangement.

"My photos aren't for free," he said venomously, pushing me down.

Now he's on top of me, and I noticed something bulge even more. I laughed hard at him, and I heard him sigh.

"You crazy wo—"

I didn't let him finish his sentence as I gave him a quick peck on the lips, and I saw him blush.

I burst into laughter again, hearing him growl in frustration as he left me there.

I kept rolling on the bed, laughing at how funny he was.

Then, I heard my elemental companion growling, and I stopped laughing. I got up from the bed but froze when I heard him laugh at me.

He looked adorable. I just stared at him, keeping my smile. Then, he stopped in his tracks and looked at me.

"You're not as cold as they say," he began.

"Uh-huh," I replied.

"Come on, you must be hungry." He gestured toward the door.

"Sure, you cook?" I asked.

"Not really," he admitted, a little awkwardly.

"Shall I judge, then?" I teased, trying to reassure him that it was okay if it wasn't great.
