** Sauru's POV **

After she punched me that day, I understood it was a warning—a warning not to act out and draw attention. She hates it when people notice her too much.

So, I went about my day as usual, but it didn't change the fact that she's a reigning Queen and needs protection. I tried following her discreetly, but somehow, she always caught me. Each time, I'd retreat in frustration.

Shit! How am I supposed to protect her if she won't even let me?

*Ring* *Ring*

My phone rang in the middle of my nap. Who the hell is calling me right now? I picked up without checking the name.

"Who's calling with this bullshit in the middle of my nap?" I hissed.

"Est-ce ainsi que vous avez répondu à cet appel maintenant, mon cher cousin?" a deep, demonic voice echoed in my ears. (Is this how you answer a call now, my dear cousin?)

*Kablag!*

"Fuck!" I muttered, suddenly wide awake. I scrambled off the bed, panicking, and nearly tripped over myself. Hearing his voice felt like a nightmare come to life.

The Princes of the Kingdom—the notorious triplets.
Prince Haze Diemon Perkinston La Francia.
Prince Hans Devilson Perkinston La Francia.
Prince Hail Death Perkinston La Francia.

And now, somehow, I was talking to all three of them.

"The f-shit, damn it!!" I mutter to myself.

Je veux parler à notre très chère princesse cet instant. Papa nous dit qu'elle est avec toi. (I want to talk to our dearest Princess this instant. Papa told us she's with you.)

I swallowed hard as the authority in his voice sent chills down my spine. Before I could respond, another voice from the triplets cut in:

Vous feriez mieux de ne pas le nier, sinon vous en regretterez les conséquences. (You better not deny it, or you'll regret the consequences.)

Great.

This is amazing—note the sarcasm there.

They were pressuring me to get her to speak with them right this instant. Are they out of their minds? I just woke up! I haven't even showered, brushed my teeth, or even rinsed my mouth yet!

*sigh*

But I didn't have any choice. There's no arguing with them. I just shook my head, resigned.

Dis.OUI.SauruGun. Den. Haxel. Blacksmith. (Say. YES. SauruGun. Den. Haxel. Blacksmith.)

The triplets growled at me.

"Argh! Oui," I answered, feeling my breath leave me. This was going to be one hell of a day.

Je lui ai dit de te parler. Je vais juste me réparer. (I told her to speak with you. I'm just going to freshen up.) I added.

Bien. (Good.)

They hung up, and only then did I remember to breathe properly. Damn! They practically scared the life out of me! But I needed to get myself ready before they called back.

I quickly showered and went through my morning routine. As I headed downstairs, I saw Den with blood dripping from her hand.

Crap! She was moving toward Butler Devi, and I wasn't about to let her get close. I had no intention of burying anyone today, even if they weren't breathing anymore.
