Hey peeps! To those reading, thank you! Tbh, this book might never had happened if I wasn't bored one day and craving to write something. I had promptly written some book ideas for beyblade fanfics, rolled a dice (landed on 2) which chose the story. Hope this grows, and I get to make more!

Hikaru: Just get to the story! They're waiting!

Suisei: Yeah, I wanna know what happens next!

Fine fine. Here it is:

Hikaru stood just inside the entrance of the Comets' gym, taking in the sight of the bustling room before him. What had once been a quiet space, where a handful of bladers practiced and shared strategies, was now alive with chatter, laughter, and the clashing sounds of Beyblades hitting the arena floor. He couldn't help but smile, but his heart tightened slightly as memories surfaced.

It felt like just yesterday when there were only six of them. He remembered the early days—Hyuga by his side, Reina bringing her calm and observant nature, Chuck with his upbeat energy, and Rantaro's steady presence. Those days had been simple, focused, and tight-knit. They had trained tirelessly together, each one pushing the other to become better, stronger.

But things changed, as they always did. Chuck had left first, with that familiar wide grin on his face as he packed up his things. Hikaru had tried to hide his disappointment, but Chuck, as perceptive as ever, had noticed. "Don't worry, we'll see each other soon!" he'd said, his cheerful voice breaking through the tension in the room. Chuck had a knack for lifting spirits, and even in his departure, he'd managed to do just that.

Not long after, Rantaro had announced his decision to go solo for a while. Hikaru remembered the look in his friend's eyes—determined yet understanding. "It'll be better to go solo for a bit," Rantaro had explained, his tone thoughtful but resolute. "We'll gain strength, learn more about ourselves and our beys."

The gym had felt emptier after they left, but Hikaru had understood their choices. They were doing what they needed to grow, and he couldn't hold them back. It was just... different.

As time passed, new bladers had joined, filling the gaps Chuck and Rantaro left behind and expanding the team beyond anything Hikaru had imagined. Now, the gym was more than a place to train; it was a community, a blend of styles, personalities, and strengths. And while he was grateful for it, a part of him still held onto the memories of those earlier days.

He looked around, spotting Hyuga chatting animatedly with Suisei, who was listening with a grin. Reina was off to the side, calmly observing as she always did, her expression thoughtful. The sight grounded him, pulling him from the wistfulness of the past back to the present. These new teammates, like Suisei, were just as dedicated, just as full of potential. It was up to him, as captain, to guide them, to bring out the best in each of them, just as he'd once done with Chuck and Rantaro.

Taking a deep breath, Hikaru stepped forward, embracing the hustle and energy of his new team, knowing that they would continue to grow, challenge each other, and, ultimately, become stronger together.

"All right!" Hikaru called out, his voice carrying across the gym. Instantly, the chatter quieted as everyone turned to him, giving him their full attention.

"Time to train!" he continued, his eyes sweeping over the team. With practiced ease, he divided them into warm-up teams, assigning different exercises to each group. Some worked on endurance drills, others focused on reaction times, and a few practiced their launch techniques. Hikaru made sure each team knew they'd rotate through all the exercises every few minutes to keep things dynamic.
