Dasuki State.2022
Asad looked at Zakir trying to soften the atmosphere, he knows it sounds ridiculous even to him who's going to say it but he had to say something in his defense.
"Look, Zakir i promise I'll return your money just give me sometime."
"Zakir?" Zakir arched a brow. "I never knew we were on first name basis, look I'm not your mate. Nor do i look like a fool? Where's my money?"
Asad was at loss of words, yes. You heard right, loss of words. How do you tell a mafia prince you Lost their freaking ten Billion. A freaking Ten Billion?
Asad looked everywhere apart from the able bodied men in the room, his mother was nowhere in sight and last time he checked they were together in a car.
"Where's my mother?"
"Where's my money?"
"Don't fuck with me, where's my mother," He said trying to breakfree from the chair.
"Untie him. Let's see what you can do if you're freed from the chair so you don't deceive yourself that you couldn't do anything because you were tied up."
One of the man walked to where Asad was and untied him. Deep down he was scared, why did everything turn against him suddenly. He knew he didn't stand even the tiniest chance against Zakir. And his mum? He could only remember what type of a bad son he was.
He didn't really look for her he devoted most of his time into finding the stolen drugs which is still to no avail.
Zakir threw a punch, he didn't even try to retaliate. "Please, release my mum." He begged.
Zakir burst into laughter. "Weren't you happy you kidnapped someone else's mother? Why are you so worried about yours, last time i checked when she was kidnapped you didn't care."
Asad face quickly turned into a confused one. How did he know his mother was kidnapped? How did he even know that he tried kidnapping Nabeel's mum. Either he kidnapped her or he is working with Nabeel And Zizi.
But zizi promised she's not working with them, then. Antonio, he walked in right when he finished talking with Zizi on the phone that day at the hospital in russia. Is he just being doubtful or are they connections between them.
"You. You know Nabeel?" Asad said more like a question.
Zakir smirked—As usual and took a seat bringing out his cigarette, he light up the cigarette and released a puff in the air.
"Keep going," Zakir said. "You're not such a fool i guess, connect the missing dots."
"You know Antonio?”
"Keep going.”
"This was a set-up."
"Aha! That's the right word."
Asad quickly stood up and punched Zakir. "Why?"
The men in the room quickly brought Asad down to his knee. Zakir lost his temper with that one punch Asad threw at him unexpectedly. He wiped the little blood by the side of his mouth.
"Let him go, don't touch him again." Zakir Roared.
He threw the cigarette and held Asad by the collar, gave him a slap throwing him to the ground yet again. "Are you asking Why? You even have the guts to ask why?"
He used his leg and hit him yet again. "Fine then, I'll tell you why."
He picked Asad from the floor and threw him on the ground again. "Because I'm Zakir and i never let anything slip. You, your mum, your dad. You messed with my family, and one thing i know is never mess with family."
