In the quiet of dusk, as the stars take their seat,
With the world holding its breath at day's soft retreat,
I find my heart dancing in shades of delight,
For my dad, my anchor, my moonlight in night.

He wears laughter like armor, so bold and so bright,
Each joke a sweet melody that sweeps me in flight,
With every head tilt, every warm, tender glance,
He turns my troubles to whispers, invites me to dance.

"Dream big, little girl," he says with a grin,
"Grab hold of your hopes like the love that we're in."
And in those simple words, I feel worlds come alive,
The spark of his faith in me helps me thrive.

When the storms try to gray all the colors I wear,
He's the hand on my shoulder, the heart in my prayer.
With him, I am fearless, a phoenix in spring,
He's the joy in my laughter, the song that I sing.

So here's to my dad, with a heart made of gold,
In the fabric of life, he's the warmth that I hold.
Forever I cherish the love that we share,
In this vast world of wonders, it's his smile, my prayer.
