In twilight's hush, where shadows creep,
A girl sits silent, her heart too deep,
With sorrow's haze and smoke entwined,
She whispers secrets to the night, resigned.
Each puff a sigh, each exhale a dream,
In swirling wisps, her thoughts redeem,
Yet blades of pain, they dance and trace,
On skin and soul, in this loncly space.
The mirror mocks with a cruel intent,
Reflecting the weight of words that torment,
"Too much, too little," they echo, they bite,
In a world that blurs between wrong and right.
But beyond the miles, a tender hand,
A love that stretches like grains of sand,
Her voice, a balm in the stark night air,
Whispers softly, "You're more than they dare." For every tear that's wept alone,
A thousand stars in the distance have shone, And through the pain, her heart still beats,
In a chorus of love that never retreats.
So she draws a line beneath the scars,
And dreams of bodies not defined by bars,
Of laughter shared and futures bright,
With her love beside her, the dark turns light.
Together apart, their souls intertwine,
In the tapestry of hope, they silently shine,
For love is a refuge, fierce and bold,
Defying the pain, igniting the gold.
Oh, girl of the night with your spirit so bright,
Know you are cherished, in shadows and light,
In every battle, remember to fight,
You are the song, you are the light.
