SUNLIGHT PEERED THROUGH the curtains of walker's room. His eyes fluttered open and it took him a second to realize he wasn't in his bedroom in Los Angeles. Instead, he was in a hotel room in NYC.
Walker struggled to sleep his eyes open as he felt around the nightstand beside the bed for his phone. When his hand made contact with the device, he picked it up and unlocked his phone.
A smile crept up onto his face as he realized that today is a big day for him. Not only was his Disney Plus series finally released, but also he'd be reunited with the people he made the show with. But he was a little more than excited to see someone in particular, Maisy Bushnell.
The two had first met, Percy Jackson had only just started in the production stage. But, when Charlie walked into set with his little sister by his side, she instantly caught Walkers eye. Maisy became very close to the group, she was just as close as everybody else was with eachother.
When Charlie first introduced Maisy to Walker, he already thought she was cute. But ever since she and Walker started talking, it became more than that; she was his friend. He saw her beyond Charlie's little sister, more than a girl who just so happened to have fame because of her older brother—she was Maisy.
She was the girl who can talk about the most arbitrary topics for hours and never be boring. She was the girl who loved movies, specifically comedies and romcoms, because they bring her comfort. She was the girl who loved playing soccer.
Just by texting her and calling her on the phone everyday when they weren't able to hangout, Walker was able to see all this about her. Her charm and wit radiated through the screen. And the closer they got, the more beautiful and intriguing she grew. Maybe that's why Walker felt so connected to her and why becoming friends with her was just so easy. He couldn't wait to see her.
Walker checked his notifications and responded to any messages he might've missed while he was asleep. It was late in the morning and he was expecting Aryan and Charlie and some other people from his team to come to his room to get ready for the premiere.
As for Maisy, she was one busy girl. Well, by busy i mean she was getting her nails done by someone on Diors team while Leah, Dior, and Mckenna were also getting ready. They had been up for an hour now, just because Maisy insisted on getting coffee from the hotel breakfast display.
She watched as the nice lady in her mid 20's kept doing her thing, every now and then she would glance at the other girls to see how they were doing.
However, she couldn't get her mind off Walker. She was excited to see him, she hadn't seen him in weeks. Of course they texted and facetimed every night, but they were both busy people. Walker was busy with interviews while Maisy was busy with school and soccer.
She was also nervous, she had never been to a premiere this big. Sure Charlie has been in the acting game for a while, but getting casted as Luke Castellan was his biggest accomplishment and Maisy was so glad he wanted her with him for it.

Maisy stepped out of the car that took her and Charlie to the premiere. Mckenna had decided to go with Aryan instead, and Maisy wasn't mad, she was encouraging.
The second the siblings started walking on the carpet, fans started screaming and trying to get their attentions so they could autograph things. Maisy was now very overwhelmed by the amount of fans who were cheering for her brother, but tried her best to interact with the fans.
She watched as Charlie autographed whatever he could, most Percy Jackson books, and talked to the fans before his manager pushed them more down and to the entrance.
Maisy began to be consumed by the flashes of the photographers cameras. Every one of them were yelling out her and Charlie's names, trying to get them to look at their cameras.
As Maisy walked along her brother, her eyes scanned the crowd of people. She saw a glimpse of Mckenna down the carpet, laughing with someone whom Maisy would guess is Aryan.
Maisy picked up the pace in her walk to catch up with Mckenna. She grabbed her arms, which startled her. Mckenna turned around and started laughing with Maisy as she hugged her as if they didn't see eachother an hour ago.
Once they let go, Maisys eyes wandered to behind Mckenna and realized who she was talking to earlier; it was of course Aryan. But, Walker was with him too.
Maisys eyes lit up and somehow her smile grew bigger. Walker reciprocated the smile and extended his arms out for her. She walked into the hug as his arms wrapped around her shoulders.
It was a quick hug, but when they both released eachother, both of their hands rested on top of the other persons arms.
"What's up, Scobell?"
"What's up, Mais?"
The cameras flashes started to rapidly go off as they captured Maisy and Walker greeting eachother. Walker had to lean down because of how loud it was "You look great" He complimented her.
Mckenna and Aryan stood off to the side and both lightly nudged eachother, silently communicating on what they're seeing.
A natural blush replaced the powdered one Maisy had put on her face. She pulled away from him and looked him up and down, "You look great"
Due to the fact that they were already practically getting blinded by the flashing lights, the two decided to just pacify the photographers and pose for the camera.
Walker stood next to Maisy with his hand on her back and his other hand infront of him doing a thumbs up. Maisy giggled silently at that, she always noticed how that was his go to pose.
The photographers got a couple of just them before Walker motioned to Aryan and Mckenna to join them. The four stood together as the cameras flash.
Every now and then Walker's eyes travelled down to the brunette girl who was still smiling for the cameras. He couldn't believe that he was in this position.
Walker and Aryan had to step away a few times to get interviewed. Maisy even got interviewed a couple times about how it feels to be related to someone like Charlie.
Once they were done with pictures and talking to interviewers and other people from the cast, Maisy, Walker, Mckenna, and Aryan headed inside the venue where the first two episodes of Percy Jackson would be playing.
Inside, they found Charlie, Dior and Leah and were engaged in a conversation before they took their seats. Everyone in the venue was settled down and the cast as Rick and Becky Riordan started doing the intro.
