The entranceway of the Kims' home is all expansive marble arches and priceless rugs strewn over polished floors. I'm almost expecting a maid to take my coat from me, but instead Junhee, the girl I'm tutoring, just tells me to hang it on an open hook.

"Sorry, my parents aren't home. They got a surprise call from my grandparents, I guess they needed them to discuss some legal things or whatever. It's okay- Jonghyun is here, so we're not alone. Anyway, make yourself at home! You want some snacks or a drink?"

I blink a few times, processing her words. "Uh, yeah, some water would be nice." My heart hammers at the mention of her brother, Jonghyun, who I have been talking to over the past couple of weeks. He's the reason I'm here now, because he mentioned to his parents I am excellent at chemistry and tutoring.

"Water coming right up. Go ahead and dump your stuff in the living room, that's where we'll study." She waves at a room adjacent to the kitchen.

"Sounds good," I reply, moving toward the direction she points me in.

We get settled and start with some basic chemistry, warming her up for the more difficult concepts. She's smart; I can tell her parents hired me for supplemental aid, not because she's struggling.

After a little while, I excuse myself to use the restroom. She tells me the upstairs one is the only one that works right now, and that it's the third door on the left side of the hallway. Despite the capacity, finding the room isn't a difficult task, though the door is closed and the light on. I assume Jonghyun is in there since I hear movement, so I turn to the mirror and pull my hair into a ponytail while I wait. I smooth out my bangs quickly, then turn around just in time to see a shirtless man step out of the restroom. I gasp, as does he before we both giggle a little.

"Ah, hey," he says, scratching his neck, "Sorry, had to shower after practice."

"No problem, not in any rush," I hope I'm not as flushed as I feel.

"Uh, you here tutoring Junhee then?" he asks, leaning against the wall.

"Yep, yeah," I stammer. He looks way too good right now, with his mussed brown hair and his sparkling doe eyes.

"You missed some stray hairs, there," he nods toward my head.

"Whatever. I'm not trying to impress anyone."

"You don't have to try, Minji."

"Jonghyun, if you don't stop being so cheesy, I will push you down the stairs."

"I'd like to see you try,"

"You think you're so tough," I stick my tongue out at him, "You're just a big baby."

"Yeah?" he steps closer, a dangerously handsome smirk painted over his lush lips, "What does that make you?"

I jut my chin out confidently. "It doesn't make me anything. And I'm not afraid of you."

"I didn't say you should be," his hand crooks my chin, curling his finger under it, "But I do think you are very much attracted to me."

"You are amazingly self-assured. Has anyone ever told you that?" I step closer now, fiery nerves exploding in my chest.

"I tell myself that every day, actually," he grins, catching his lower lip under his pearly teeth.

I start on my tiptoes to lean in for a kiss, but Junhee's voice echoes up the stairway, "Minji? Did you get lost?"

My eyes close in embarrassment for a moment, and Jonghyun's chesty laugh reverberates between us.

"Uh, no, just give me a minute, fixing my hair!" I call back.

"Okie dokie!" she chirps, and I hear her feet patter back toward the living room.

"Oops," his hand is on my waist, pulling me ever-so-slightly closer, "Almost got caught."

"I'm blaming you," I hiss, but he cuts me off with a fiery kiss which I simply melt into.

He pulls away much too soon, and I realize he has no shirt for me to pull him back. I whine in frustration, which prompts a snort from him.

"Use the bathroom and get back to tutoring, babe," he gives my bum an affectionate smack, "Love you."

"You're mean," I kick his ankle, "Love you."
