AN: I'm so sorry I disappeared! I had to get things settled in college! Anyways here we go!
Lexi shouldn't have taken that nap because she woke up to loud screaming and the sound of someone crying. Wait crying?
"Give it back!"
"It's mine!!"
"Give me it!!"
Alexis sat up to see Larry and Lau fighting over who gets to play with the Hot Wheels set. Sadly, her boyfriend had tears running down his face, which made her realize Lau was actually in an older headspace than Larry, which was rare. She shook her head, got into her mommy space again, and stood up, going to the two men.
"Laurent Nicholas Bourgeois! What are you doing?!" Alexis snapped, looking at the man, who, judging by his behavior, might have been in a 3-year-old's headspace.
"Mommy!!" Larry cried, reaching out for Lexi, who grabbed him quickly, and she rubbed his back and shushed him slightly.
"Hmm he must be in an awful young headspace he's never cried like this or this quickly I should say." Lexi thought to herself as she sat back down holding the 6'4 baby in her arms and she rocked him side to side.
"Ok now Laurent we have been over this a million times. You know when your brother is in a smaller headspace you are supposed to share the Hot Wheels set with him. So tell me why you didn't do that this time." Alexis said looking at Lau as he pouted and folded his arms.
"They mine! I nu wanna share!" Lau said huffing.
"Baby...you have a brother, not everything is yours. You have to share with him. See how sad Larry looks? You didn't wanna make your baby brother cry did you?"
Laurent looked at Larry who had dried tears on his face and was hiccuping slightly hiding his face in Lexi's chest.
"N-nu.. I sowwy mama.." Laurent said looking down at his feet feeling bad for making his baby brother cry and possibly angering his mama.
Lexi sighed knowing that Laurent has a tendency to think people are mad at him. "Baby boy I'm not mad at you ok my sweet little beast?"
"Mama nu mads?"
"No sweetie I'm not mad but I think you owe your brother an apology don't you think?"
Laurent nodded and kneeled down so he could see his baby brother. "I sowwies baby brother, I nu mean to make chu cry. It jus umms I really wike hot wheels and I has hard time sharing sometimes."
Lexi watched and smiled knowing Laurent was trying his best to apologize in his 3 year old mindset. She silently giggled in her head at the sight and bounced Larry on her lap to make him smile and notice Lau.
"See my little blaze, older bubby didn't mean to hurt you sometimes big brothers have a hard time communicating huh? Yes they do, oh yes they do!" She cooed as Larry giggled and hugged Lau who in turn started to giggle too!
Lexi looked at the clock still seeing they had time so she figured maybe if they got their little time in now they would be ok by the time of the battle but she was gonna be mistaken once again..
