We walked inside and went straight to a conference room where the team had our case information tacked up all over the boards. There was another person in there, who I assumed to be the sheriff. He turned around as we walked into the room, and I couldn't put my finger on why, but he looked really familiar...

"Dr. Spencer Reid, SSA David Rossi, this is the sheriff; Sheriff, this is Dr. Reid and Agent Rossi..." Hotch introduced us.

Just then, a young man came running into the police station and fell on the floor. Seconds later, he appeared in front of the sheriff.

"Dad, Sis said that the FBI was here. You need to tell me what's going on! Now!" He said in a failed attempt at a hushed tone.

"Perhaps I can update him, Sheriff?" I spoke up.

"Really, you don't hav-" the sheriff started.

"I want to know what's going on! Y/N has been upset every night since she started to help you out, she won't tell me what's going on, which she usually always does, and you're not telling me anything, and I'm starting to freak out!"

"STILES!-Excuse my son and me for just a moment..." he said, pulling the boy outside.

That's when it hit me. Y/N said her father was a sheriff. She said her brother goes by Stiles because his first name was too long and hard to pronounce.

This was Y/N's family.

SPENCER POV

I couldn't believe it. This was her family. That means that she's somewhere around here... but then again, she hasn't met the team yet. Yeah, she's heard all the stories about them, and I've heard a ton of stories about her family, but I don't think this is how she would want me to meet them. I was about to call her when I heard her beautiful voice floating into the conference room. She was carrying several aluminum pans full of food.

"I hope everyone is hungry!" She said, smiling at everyone around the room. Then her brother burst back into the room, about to grab a plate when she smacked his hand away. "Stiles, I told you there is food at home for you. Plus, you have homework you need to get done and finals to study for..." She told him with a kind yet motherly tone.

"Yeah, I know, but I wanna eat here with you..." He said, looking up at her with the best puppy dog face he could muster.

"Well, I'll be home soon. I just want to make sure everyone likes what they are eating, then I'll be home and we can eat together, and I'll even help you study for your exams... and maybe help you write that history paper of yours..." She said, patting his cheek. He smiled back at her.

Then Morgan walked right up to her, putting his hand on her arm, and although I knew it was harmless, it still made me feel a pang of jealousy.

"Miss Stilinski-"

"Please, call me Y/N. No need to be so formal." She said with a smile.

"-Alright. Y/N, please meet Agent Rossi and Dr. Reid." Morgan said, and Y/N turned to shake hands with Rossi, and when she saw me, her eyes went wide and her jaw dropped.

"Spencer?" She exclaimed loudly.

"Yeah, baby. It's me." I said with a smile. She sat the last of the containers she was carrying on the table, and slowly started walking around the table, before she broke into a full-blown sprint jumping into my arms and holding on for dear life. When we pulled away, I noticed she had tears in her eyes, so I pulled her back into my chest to make her feel okay again. Just then, there was an awkward cough coming from somewhere in the room, and I lifted my head up and noticed everyone was staring at us, including Y/N's brother and father.
