Warnings: Panic attacks, kidnapping, and the taking of a hostage

I was sitting in my dad's office reading again when my dad walked in, seemingly nervous and aggravated at the same time.

"Dad? What's wrong?"

"I've left your brother at least a dozen messages and he hasn't called me back. I'm starting to get worried. You know the last time he did this, he ran off to Mexico to go save Scott? If he ran off somewhere again, I'll kill him..." He said, running his hands through his hair.

"Dad, I'm sure it's fine. He probably just left his phone in his car or something and he's probably with Scott..." I said, trying to calm him down.

"That's just it: I called Scott and he said he hasn't seen him all day."

"Alright, relax. You stay here and try and get some work done and I'll go home and see if he shows up and I'll ask Scott and the pack to head out and look for him if they aren't already, okay?" I said, walking over and giving him a reassuring hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Okay... let me know if you hear from him. If he's in trouble, he'll either call you or Scott first, so just let me know." He said, sitting back in his office chair with a rigid back and tense shoulders, letting out a heavy sigh.

"I will, daddy. See you at home." I said, giving him a final peck on the cheek before heading to the door.

He nodded, and I headed out the door to my car.

I was about halfway home when my phone rang. Stiles was calling me.

"You better have a damn good explanation for where the hell you have been. Dad is worried sick!" I said into the phone.

"I don't think you need to worry about Stiles, my dear. He's perfectly safe." A mysterious voice said into the phone.

"Who... who is this?" I said nervously.

"Don't you recognize me, my love?" The voice said in response.

That's when I put it together. The voice on the other end of the phone was Peter, and now he had my baby brother as a hostage.

If I wasn't scared before, I was beyond terrified now...

Y/N POV

"Peter...?" I said, my entire body tensing as I gripped the steering wheel as if holding on for dear life.

"That's right my love... Long time no talk..." He said, though I could hear his devious grin in his voice.

"Heh heh... That it has been..." I said, taking in a huge gulp of air. He wasn't anywhere near me and I was still terrified.

"YOU DIDN'T EVEN LET ME EXPLAIN WHAT WAS GOING ON BACK THEN! YOU JUST UP AND LEFT! YOU WOULDN'T EVEN LOOK AT ME, LET ALONE SPEAK TO ME! AND THEY... THEY WOULDN'T EVEN LET ME NEAR YOU TO EXPLAIN!..." He yelled into the phone.
