"So as you know, we found another body today. The victim was identified as 30-year-old Marin Morell. She was found murdered the same way your friends were..." Spencer stopped and looked up into my eyes.

I think he could tell I was shocked. I knew Marin had moved back to town, because she was part of my crazy group of friends back in school, but I couldn't believe she was dead too. A tear slipped from my eye, which I quickly wiped away, then looked back at Spencer.

"Please, continue..." I told him.

"Alright. When we had Garcia go through their backgrounds, we came upon all of the things you had previously pointed out, but she also found a photo from your yearbook pop up that had the three victims, yourself, and another man in it... Peter Hale." He said, stopping to look at me again.

"Ookaay... W-well what does that mean?" I asked him.

"It means that you and Mr. Hale may be in danger..." Spencer said, giving me a look that showed he was trying to be strong, but that he was worried about me.

I set my now-empty glass down on the coffee table and crawled over onto Spencer's lap, laying my head on his chest and wrapping my arms around his waist. His body tensed for a second, before he set his glass down next to mine and wrapped his arms around me, before looking down at me to ask me his next question.

"Baby, I have to ask this, because we need to know how to find him so we can keep him safe: what can you tell me about Peter Hale?"

Y/N POV

I sat there stunned. I haven't heard the name 'Peter Hale' in years. I wasn't exactly sure what I could tell Spencer about him that would be helpful now. Last I heard of Peter, he was recovering in the hospital from severe burns all over his body from the Hale House fire.

"Spence, I haven't talked to Peter in a very long time. He didn't stay in touch with our group of friends after we graduated. We sort of had a falling out..." I responded to his earlier question, a bit nervously.

"What did you all fall out over?" Spencer asked.

I opened my mouth to answer, but just when I was about to, there was a knock on the door. I crawled off of Spencer's lap to go and answer it.

I opened the door to see Stiles' best friend, Scott, who was like another baby brother to me. I hadn't seen him since I got home, since Stiles usually went to his house.

"Y/N! I'm so happy to see you!" Scott said, wrapping me up in a hug, picking me up in a big bear hug, spinning me around, making me giggle. When Scott finally put me down, he saw that I had been crying and a look of both concern and a hint of anger came over his face. "Hey, what's going on? Are you okay?" He asked.

"Uhm, not entirely? But I'll be fine. Don't worry about it... Stiles is upstairs in his room." I said, trying to redirect the attention away from myself.

"I'll go up in a minute, but first: tell me what's wrong. I've never seen you cry, so it must be something pretty big..." He said, closing the front door.

"Well, I guess I might as well tell you since I know Stiles will if I don't... Those people who were murdered? They were friends of mine from high school... I'm just a little upset that they're gone is all, but I'll be alright..." I said.

"Are you sure you don't want me to stay with you? I feel bad leaving you down here all by yourself..." He said giving me the sweetest smile.

"I'm not by myself. My boyfriend is here with me. He's helping my dad out with the case..." Just then, Spencer walked into the foyer and stood by my side.
