Another day arrived as Rishiraj took a shower early in the morning. It was his birthday and he wanted to start the day taking the blessings of God.

After passing half an hour praying and doing the Puja, he got up. Another year and another birthday which was going to pass with sadness. Nothing was new for him.

From the day his mother died, he never celebrated his birthday. It was his mother who used to make halwa on his birthdays every year and after her death he stopped eating that too. She was the only one who loved him and cared for him so much. She was the only one with whom he could share anything and after her death, he never felt the need to celebrate his birthday.

He made a cup of tea for himself and took it without any disturbance. Then went towards his room to watch Shree if she woke up or not.

Entering inside, he saw her sleeping on the bed in a messy manner as usual. Her long hair covered the whole bed and her skirt moved from its place revealing her bare thighs in front of his eyes.

Rishiraj diverted his gaze and cleared his throat not wanting to look like a pervert.

'Why do you always have to forget that it's not a bachelor's house anymore?'

He scolded himself and then covered her thighs with the clothes properly.

"Shree!"

He called her two-three times as she scrunched her eyebrows a little.

Shree made a weird face as her sleep was disturbed and got up slowly while rubbing her eyes.

"Humne kaha tha na ki der se uthna buri baat hai. Aur fir school ki ghanti baj jayegi to tumhe andar bhi nehi jane dega koi" (Didn't I tell you, getting up late is a bad habit. If the school bell starts ringing, then none will let you enter inside)

"I don't wanna go to school today"

She shrugged casually like she didn't just increase his blood pressure.

"Why?"

"Kal rat humne bohot der tak padhai ki na isliye" (I studied till late night yesterday)

She made the biggest excuse just like every time.

"There's no rule like, if you study today you'll get a holiday the next day. So, get up fast and run for school. I am not going to bear your tantrums"
