The night became darker from time to time as Rishiraj stayed awake. His eyes were lingering on the girl who was now sleeping on the bed peacefully without any care of the world.
Her innocent face was looking so beautiful and serene under the moonlight which was entering into the room cutting through the windows. Those soft rose petals like lips were doing little movements as she took soft breaths.
That nose ring on her little nose was sparkling under the moonlight like a diamond which was taking his attention. The air blew over her body making those little hair fall on her face as she scrunched her eyes and turned her head to another side in her sleep.
Rishiraj didn't know for how long he was watching her as his heart was bleeding badly. Some papers were scattered all over the table and he was sitting on the couches like a lost person. His eyes were holding the hurt and pain looking at her features.
The days were coming near and he had to leave. He had to break all the ties with her just like he decided but now, he didn't want to. It was breaking him from inside. He felt like he was losing something very precious but he was helpless.
Rishiraj knew, he had developed weakness for her which was now going to haunt him forever. He tried. He tried his level best not to fall for her but he couldn't do so. He failed to stop himself from falling for her. He failed to stop his heart and now, there was no going back.
What if she had started falling for him too? A fear grabbed his heart as he fisted his palms tightly.
No! That couldn't be possible. He reminded himself.
She had a bright future ahead but not with him. He shouldn't think all these bullshit. He would do what he decided earlier. He needed to be more strict with his feelings from now on. He wouldn't let her do that mistake.
His vision again went towards her little figure as his eyes became moist. He diverted his eyes controlling himself and signed the papers with a heavy heart.
