" Do you love someone?" I ask her
" Huh?" She says blinking
" I mean do you also love anyone? Like Shreya and dev do eachother?" I ask her as I'm curious to know.
She was shocked, her eyes went wide and shook her head vigorously as no
" No-o why-y?" She speaks
" Just asking simply" I say she nods and then
" Aap ? "
" What ?" I ask confused
" Do you also love someone?" She spoke in whisper
I clench my fist and shut my eyes close.
Love?! It was more than that my jiya was my everything to me
All the memories clouded infront of me
"Dhruv do you really love me ?" Jiya asked me pouting
" Why do you doubt about my feelings jiya ? What's bothering you?"
She sighs and speaks up with tears
" You tell me honestly, it's been 2 years since we started dating and till now you haven't even kissed me. All you do is hold hands or hug me that too rarely and it makes me feel as if you aren't interested in me at all and makes me doubt myself" she sobs. I smile at her and hold her hands and pull her towards me
" Look at me jiya " I say and further I say " you are beautiful in and out and I love like a crazy man. But I think kiss and all other intimate things to be done after marriage. I'm not saying it's wrong to do before but I'm saying I will do it with full rights claiming you as mine because I want everything between us to be special" I say she smiles and hugs me
" I love you Dhruv " jiya said
" I love you more jiya" I say
I try my best to hold my tears.
" I-i ... N-"
I was cut off by dev who barged in the room dramatically and his landed on me then at her. He was disappointed. I'm really happy that he came in right time. I calmed myself down and diverted my mind to the current situation.
" Isha you are here ? Was not shreya supposed to come ?" He asked her
" By the way you look beautiful today" He says and she smiles
" Well dev she has come but Aunty has made her to be downstairs so that they can talk" she says and I wonder how she doesn't stutters when speaking with him but only me
I look at her even she looks at me.
Dev clears his throat
" Looks like I entered in the wrong time and also I guess if I'm not mistaken we are here to speak about dev and shreya right?" Dev spoke with teasing tone making me glare at him.
" I will go down and bring shreya up guys till then stay here " saying he rushed out
Once they both came, we four went to terrace. After speaking for a while and asking them if they were really serious about it. I advised shreya to concentrate on her studies right now nothing else to which both dev and shreya nod. All the while Isha was looking at me with admiration in her eyes with a full blown smile.
" So that it is, lets leave now" shreya said
We all nod and Dev said
" Shreya come with me for a second"
They both rushed downstairs.
I look at Isha who was standing nervously. It was already 8 pm now.
I look up the stars and moon ... It was so good and then my eyes went to the girl next to me, I mean Isha.
" Isha ?!" I call her. Her name rolls out easily from my tongue.
" Huh ? .. ji yes-s?" She said
I rub my forehead before speaking
" Shall we gaze the moon till they both come here ?" I ask with a smile
She blinks and gave me the most beautiful smile.
" Sure" she says and we both sit down maintaining a decent gap and gaze at the moon.
" Beautiful" I say looking at the moon
" Yeah indeed it is " I heard her and she mumbled
" I wish I could have this close sight everyday"
Close sight?
I look at her and she was looking into my eyes and I don't know what happened but I didn't want to look away too..
Her eyes!
They were trying to speak with me
It held more emotions that I can't understand.
" What's going on here ?" I broke my eye contact hearing Dev's voice
" Di shall we go ? " Shreya asks
" Yeah.... " Isha says getting up
I too stand up.
" It was nice meeting you moon lover!" I forward my hands to Isha.
Her cheeks and ear turned red and she placed her hand carefully on mine and smiled
" I'm glad to have a encounter with my lov... I mean you too are a moon lover right ... So yeah pleasure is mine " she says nervously and I nod smiling
Dev clears his throat and I leave isha's hand and they both left including dev. I stand there still and look at moon and smile
The day indeed was nice!
After some time I go downstairs and have my dinner with mom, who was smiling from ear to ear and speaking only about the two girls
I wonder what's going on in her mind ?!
I shrug off and then go to my room when my eyes fell on the photo of us.
It's the only photo I have after her death.
I miss you jiya!
How can you leave me ?!
If only you didn't go that day with your sister you would have been with me here, as my wife with kids.
