Isha's Pov

I smiled looking at him

" Isha di, let's go now mumma will kill us if you don't reach on time" Shreya whispered and dragged me. While my  eyes never left him, who was busy speaking with the guests.

" Let's atleast say Dev and leave" I say and Shreya glare at me.

" Di please, I can't stay in this boring event anymore " she said and Huffed

" Okay let's go my dear shreyu" she grins and nods before dragging me with her

While leaving his mother stopped us, her eyes glued to my sister Shreya with a loving smile

" Aree beta you both are leaving so soon? Wait na for sometime"

" Actually aunty, our mom is waiting for us. We are already late. I'm sorry but we have to go " I explain her and she nods walking towards her other guests

" She likes you more I guess" I say and Shreya rolled her eyes

We reached home and had dinner with mom who at first was super angry later after sometime she let it go and made our favourite foods

Once I reach my room. I can't help but think about how handsome he looked today.

'Dhruv'  I whisper and smile to myself.

I open my journal and write about how amazing the day was and all.

" Di off the light na please I can't sleep"

" Shreyu just few minutes"

" Okay but off soon" saying she covered her head with the quilt

I shook my head and off the lights and close my eyes

I was 17 years old, Kavya was my best friend who stays way far from my house. We had an important project to do, so I left to her house. While returning it was already dark I felt really scared to stand alone at the bus stop. The gentle breeze made me shiver when I heard the foot steps of some men who looked at me like I'm their prey. I looked away clutching my bag tightly. One of them had come and stood next to me. I was wishing that it would be great if bus comes now but there was no sight of bus nor any human apart from these creeps. I started walking when I felt him come closer and started running when they followed me.

" Wait for us too let's enjoy together" they said and chased me.

God please save me. Please please I will never come alone again please please I pray as I ran

Out of nowhere a man came and stood infront of me and them. I thought he was one of them when

" Come with me " he said and took my hands in him. I felt a strange feeling but shrugged and ran. He stopped and made us to hide nearby building and dialled someone and within no time police was around us taking those creeps away.

I slowly gazed up and saw my saviour's face and I couldn't stop looking at him. He was maybe around his mid twenties

" Hey ? What are you doing here? Don't you know it's not safe here? What's your name?" He asked harshly making me come out of my daze

" I ..I am sorry" I said and tears filled my eyes. He sighed...

" Listen kid, I really didn't mean to shout at you but see... It's not safe here to roam around. You should be careful and be strong don't cry now okay? " He spoke softly and I nod wiping my tears

I told him my aunt's house address, as we were staying there for a day. He started his bike I hopp on. Whole ride my eyes was at him, admiring everyone one of his features.

" Go " he said stopping right infront of my house. I nod and run inside as he left

'My saviour ' I smiled

After some one or two weeks I was sleeping peacefully when I woke up to the shouts of my 15 year old sister shreya

" Di di di wake up wake up wake up"

" What happened?" I ask her yawning

" You know we have new neighbour now and I saw a cute boy also di. Guess he is the one for me " she squeal and I laugh at her madness

" Okay let me see too" I say and we both go near the window to have glimpse

My breath hitched when I saw the same man who saved me.

" Is he the one you said?" I ask her in horror, no she can't like him

"No! Not that bhaiya, look properly di. There that one in black hoodie" she shows me the guy next to him maybe around 19 or 20 I guess. I sighed in relief

" Dhruv !" I hear someone shout and he turned around saying " yeah dad coming"

'Dhruv' I whisper and smile

And that's how I started having this tiny crush on my saviour turned neighbour. And now it's not just a mere crush.... It has turned into something more. It's been 5 years now, everything has changed my feelings too as it's way too deep.

I quietly get up and open the window.
There he is looking at the moon and smiling with a cup of coffee in his hand. I smiled looking at my moon ofcourse him..

How I wish you would notice me
How I wish the feelings were mutual

I will keep waiting for you Dhruv
I fallen for you but afraid of being rejected by you.

If only the god gives me some sign it would be great

" Hey !" I hear him and freeze the moment he looks at me and smiles.

WHAT ON EARTH DID JUST HAPPENED?????
PLEASE SOMEONE HOLD ME I WOULD FAINT RIGHT NOW.

I shook my head and shrug off maybe it was my imagination and look again but he was nowhere and closed the window
