I glanced at my mom who is super excited as tomorrow is the day! Where I would have to be again decked up to meet the prospective guy selected by mom. Both mom and aunty made me try many outfits saying that I should look more beautiful. Dad gave me an apologetic look and I tried smiling at him as I don't want him to feel guilty of not being able to do anything in this.

You know what is the unsettling thing right now in my mind?

No it's not about what dhruv said last night although it did made me feel like I'm the most happiest person on earth but ... The thing that's bothering me is

The guy who is coming to see me has already said that he likes me a lot after seeing my photo. He also tried texting me which I didn't respond.
I looked at his photo, he did look quite decent, yeah very handsome but for me it's only my Dhruv no one else.

I'm sure that either he is blind or he is having some pressure from his family to accept this, I'm pretty sure that it's not about dowry because we are middle class family so .. what can it be ?

With these thoughts still in my mind I dial dhruv to inform him about the guy - Vansh Dixit, which I got to know through the bio data that was given to me, he is a doctor and is 6 years elder to me

" Hey Isha " I smile listening his voice

" Hi ... " I say

" He is coming tomorrow morning" I say

" Oh... " He says and adds " you know the plan right ? " I nodd

" Are you there?"

" Yeah! I know I will do it as you said " I say hurriedly

" Good " I heard him say and out of nowhere he asks

" Why do you don't want to marry?"

I smile before replying him
" Well... It's because.. I'm too young and I want to focus on my studies and settle down then maybe I can think of it " also because of you, if it's not you then I'll not marry

" That's good you should focus on studies only " he says

What else can I expect you to say to me ? Only if you know that my focus is on you Dhruv!

" And what about you Dhruv?" I blurt out and shut my eyes that was not supposed to be asked, I heard his chuckle ... Haa it sounds like heaven to me

" Well ... I'm in a hunt for the right girl " my breath hitched...

Why do want to hunt her ? When she is already infront of your house only ?

Just say okay we can get married immediately!!!

" Oh... " I trail off

" Isha !!!!!!!!" I heard aunty shout and I mentally killed her 100 times when dhruv said bye and hang the call hearing her voice

I hate her !!!!!

I rush downstairs and look at her with furious eyes.

She smiles sweetly yeah that fakeness dripping in it.

" You called me AUNTY?" I asked

" Yes yes, see tell me if you liked Vansh already so that I'll speak with your parents and arrange immediate engagement so that we can marry of asap!" She says with excitement

And I clench my fist and control myself from bursting out at her

" No aunty! I don't.. I mean If I like him I will let know parents itself... And why are you so much worried about me when you have your own daughter who is still unmarried!" I snap at her

" Hey ! Speak with sense girl, I'm saying this for your own good only ! And my daughter is a epitome of beauty she will get any guy but I'm sure she will get the most handsome man!" She boast

I shake my head and move out with my books. I look at shreya who is standing out near the gate and smiling looking at the opposite side where dev is waving at her from his balcony.

Agrhh !! Everyone around me are having someone but me ? Will I die being single ? Why don't dhruv look at me ?

I was about to go to meet deeksha when Shreya suddenly held my hands

" Di ... Let's go to our neighbour's house to study! What say ? " She grins

" Idiot! Dev is doing psychology and I'm a commerce student, so I can't take his help also deeksha is waiting for me at her place " I say trying to free my hands

" Di!! Look at me! Why don't you come with me, I'll take you to the best tutor and I'm not saying about dev, I'm speaking about Dhruv bhai!" She pauses and looks away

" He said he want discuss something with you!" She says and I nod maybe it's regarding his plan to cancel the alliance.

Although I know deeksha is waiting, I'm sure she wouldn't mind so I text her as I would never miss a chance if I can be near him.

I go to their house with shreya tagging me. The door was opened by dhruv's father who welcomed us with a smile and was about to ask us why we are their when aunty came out of kitchen

" Let them in already, they both are here for tution, I forgot to inform you already that Dhruv has started taking tution to Isha !" We both sigh in relief and smile nodding at her

" You both go to his room ma !" She says and leaving towards kitchen and we both rush upstairs

" Di you go I'll be waiting because I know I will disturb when you are studying!" She says and rushes even before I could reply her.

Taking a deep breath I knock on his door and the door was opened with dhruv who looks surprised to see me

" What are you doing here Isha ?"

Shreya is dead in my hand, no one is gonna save her !

How can she lie to me !

" Are you okay? Come in " he said giving me space to enter

I clear my throat and speak hiding my embarrassment

" I-i. . I had-d some doubts in a subject and thought you can help me sorry if I had disturbed you, it's okay if you can't.., I'll get going then" I quickly say getting up

" Sit down " he said halting me and I nod making myself comfortable on his chair

" When did I said that I'll not help you with your studies? ... Also you can come here whenever you have doubt, I'll clear it and why are you in such a hurry feel free to ask anything okay?" I bob my head grinning and open my book

I never thought that my crush would become my tutor!

Wah. .. I guess I'm lucky already
