Richie's perspectiveToday, I've crossed two of the first Losers off of my mental 'checklist', ( Which I didn't know existed until today ) and now, I'm determined to meet every last one of them.
For personal reference, this is my very sophisticated list.
• EDDIE!!! ( done and dusted )
• New kid ( he isn't new anymore, but it sticks. )
• The one ane only, Michael ( the easiest of the group to contact )
• Staniel ( probably the least chance of crossing this one out )
• Staniel's other half ( if I can meet him, Stan will be easier to convince )
• The female one ( also somehow done )
I don't know if I'll be able to meet them all again. God, I'm not even sure if they're still alive.
When I think about it logically, I recall Eddie saying that he still Talked to Bill and Stan. Even though they seem to have fallen out, none of them are the sort to Hold grudges. Excluding Stan, of course.
I decided it would be a good idea to ask Eddie about it, skipping across the whole 'sensitive topic' warning.

Once we had said our brief goodbyes and farewells, Bev went back on her own path and left me and Eddie walking alone again, a perfect opportunity to bring up my question.
I sprinted ahead of him, stumbling backwards and trying to match his pace.
"So Eds, I've been thinking.."
"How very dangerous."
"Shut up." I scoffed affectionately at his interruption.
"Tell me. And stop walking like that. You're making us look like weirdos."
I put my hands up in defeat and skipped over beside him.
"Okay, right. Okay. So I was just wondering if there was any way I could talk to Bill and Stan? I know you guys aren't speaking at the moment, but-" I paused for a moment, unsure of how to finish my sentence. "It's important to me."
I braced myself for refusal when he let out an overly dramatic sigh.
"Please, Eds? I understand if it isn't possible, I just-"
"No, no, Richie. It's fine. I'll try talk to them."
My face lit up in relief. I was surprised that Eddie was actually willing to go out of his way to help me with this.
"Really?"
"Yeah. Of course. But I can't guarantee they'll be willing to talk to me, never mind you."
"I guess. Thanks!"
"No worries."
When he smiled at me, it was so unbelievably overwhelming that I couldn't bring myself to return it. I stared at him blankly for a while, before he snapped his fingers right in front of my face.
"Hello?"
I flinched and shook my head instinctively. "Sorry. Great, that's great. I appreciate it."
I nearly died at the skeptical look he gave me. I always get caught in these kind of situations. My brain was a complete mess at the moment.
"Mhm.. Anywho. You want to ask now?"
"Don't you need to, I dunno... Let things cool off?"
Eddie rolled his eyes and kept walking. "No, if they won't talk to me now then they never will. It's worth a try."
