Ch 10: my love for you

Arthur's Pov

It was night again and as usual we had a nice dinner prepared by Olivia. I was now currently hugging Anna as we rested in bed.

"Arthur I wanted to ask you something" she was tired but her curiosity was there.

"Sure thing my love, what is it?" I asked her.

"How would describe your mom?" She was hesitant.

I thought about her question,I thought of my mom as my mom, bright and affectionate,a good person and a lover of literature.

"She's good, she used to tell me stories of my dad and his books he wrote for her, maybe it's why I keep a journal,and she was the one who taught me how to fly" I say happily,"how was your mom?".

I knew I did something wrong as she stiffened up at my question.

"It's fine you don't have say anything, forget it"I gently rubbed her back trying to sooth her.

"My mom...my parents were adventurers that traveled a lot,they left me and my sister in Ironhot and went on another adventure,at first they sent letters each week", a tear fell from her,"then it became less and less until the letters stopped 3 years ago,I think they died...it would be better than..."she was holding in sobs.

I immediately sit up and cup her face in my hands and I kissed her.

"It's okay my love, leave those memories behind,you have something better, Emily and Sammy,Liam and Olivia...and me, we're here for you and I won't let anything bad happen to you,and if your parents are alive and try to extort you just because they're your parents, I'll kill them and eat them" I gave her a loving smile.

"You eat people,I guess you're a beast after all,but I know you meat well" she gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I laugh and hold her close and I lay down with her in my arms and rest my head over her's.

"Goodnight my love"I kiss her forehead one last time.

"Goodnight Arthur...I love you" she fell asleep as she said those words.

I felt my heart skip a few hundred beats at her words,I wanted to hear it but, it's so much better to hear it in person. I fell asleep happy and crying with tears of joy.

Olivia Pov

It was morning and I went to wake up Arthur and Anna in their room.

I enter the room and see them snuggled up together like lovers,did they get this far? I was almost thinking about not waking them up and ruining this happy moment,but I had to because otherwise they might sleep in the entire day.

"Wake up lovers it's morning!" I shook them awake.

"Olivia" Arthur groaned and just buried his face in Anna's neck.

"Arthur stop, I'm ready to have kids yet" Anna let out a moan in her sleep.

I blushed just imagining what kind of dream Anna was having. I shook her awake

"You both better wake up or else I'll have Liam make your breakfast" I said sternly.

Immediately they both rush out of bed and into their bathroom to wash and came back out to get dressed in decent clothing.

"We're done Olivia please don't feed us Liam's god awful cooking!" They both grovelled down begging.

I let out a sigh and take them into the dinning room.

"Emily, Sammy and Liam all ate breakfast already and they went into the east wing to practice their dancing in preparation for the ball in 6 months" I say and out them in chairs and give them some baitronix bacon.

"I forgot about the Blue moon ball, it's such an inconvenience,but it will be nice to see Anna in a regal dress" Arthur ate his food slowly as he was still sleepy.

"A ball on the night of the Blue moon, sounds fancy,let me guess it's a dragon only ball"Anna was already finished eating.

"Yes, dragons come on this night to celebrate another couple of decades of reign and compare slaves,most slaves never get the chance to see it,but slaves like me and Liam are able to come because we're the staff at the ball, Sammy and Emily won't be able to enter the ball without the prince,and you will have to be by Arthur's side constantly and act like the ideal slave" I said honestly but my stomach turned at the thought.

"As much as I would love to dress up fancy and enjoy the ball by Arthur's side... I'm not speaking to those snobby bastards formally " Anna said with slight anger but mostly annoyance.

"It's just for that night,I hate it too that you're a slave,but I promise you this my love" Arthur went down on his knees and rested his head on Anna's thighs,"I'll make it up to you in any way you want,I love you Anna" Arthur said lovingly.

Anna ran her hand through Arthur's hair and looked at him with love and admiration.

I felt so extremely happy for the two of them,they both deserve happiness together...but I feel that they should atleast slow down those kind of things,one of these days they might have sex.

"I believe that you both should go to the garden and pick some of the sapphire roses in the garden's sanctuary,I used to be the one to do it but I'm getting old and need you two to do it" I said.

They both gave me a nod and left immediately. I feel like things are changing in this house, maybe soon enough they'll get married.

I wanted to apologize for the delay on the story.
