"I found a love, for me.
Darling, just dive right in and follow my lead.
Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet.
Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me."

Smith's study
Smith was in his study, using his free time to catch up on some schoolwork he needed to grade for some of his students, when he is interrupted by a knock at his study door. He rises from his desk and heads over to answer the door; part of him hopeful that it might be Katy. But he frowns curiously when he opens up and sees one of his students; a young boy named Timothy Latimer, standing there and looking at him politely.
"What can I do for you?" Smith inquires.
"You told me to come and collect that book, sir." Latimer reminds Smith, who pauses for a moment, before realising that he indeed did request that this boy come and retrieve a book from him at an earlier class.
"Good lad. Yes. Yes! The Definitive Account of Mafeking by Aitchison Price. Come in!" Smith steps back and allows Latimer to walk pass the threshold into his study and he closes the door behind him. "Where did I put it?" Smith mumbles to himself as he heads over to his library alcove, eying the boy sternly as he goes. "And I wanted a little word. Your marks aren't quite good enough." He pointed out to Latimer who looked a bit surprised.
"I'm top ten in my class, sir."
"Now, be honest, Timothy, you should be the very top." Smith scolds him, gently. "You're a clever boy. You seem to be hiding it." He climbs a ladder to search the top shelf of the library. "Where is that book?" He mutters to himself in annoyance. "And I know why," He announces to Latimer. "Keeping your head low avoids the mockery of your classmates. But no man should hide himself, don't you think?"
"Yes, sir." Latimer agrees.
Smith continues searching for the book in question, as Latimer suddenly takes an interest in the Doctor's fob watch and goes over to inspect it curiously.
"You're clever," Smith tells Latimer, oblivious to the fact that his student was distracted by his fob watch. "Be proud of it. Use it." Latimer picks up the watch and nearly drops it when he suddenly hears voices inside his head.
'... Time lord. Hide yourself...' A mysterious male's Estuary English voice whispers. '...the secret lies within. I'm trapped. I'm kept inside the cogs...'
Mesmerised, Latimer pops open the watch and is nearly blinded by a golden glow emanating from it.
'...In the dark, waiting. Always waiting...'
Latimer quickly shuts the watch and shoves it into his pocket, just as Smith comes back into the room, carrying the book he was lending to Latimer, who attempted to compose himself after the shock he had received from opening the pocket watch.
