The Last Week Together (Part 2)

Upon arriving at the castle, Izumi met with her mother's personal maid. The maid asked her to meet the Queen in her bed chambers. Izumi went to her mother's bed chamber as asked while Shoto returned home to meet his father.
Katsumi and Ochako were left together.

"So, what do you usually do when you are not with the princess?", asked the curious brunette.
"wrong question, you should ask me what I do when I am with her" the ash blonde replied.
"Do you not just clean and all like regular maid duties with extra burden since you are her personal one?" Ochako said with a confused look on her face. Katsumi
laughed at her innocence.

 
"Yeah I clean...plenty"

"What's so good about it?"

"Nothing...it's the feeling that matters"

"what feelings?"

"You ask way too many questions"

"yes, because you seem weird"

"you mean queer?"

 "Yeah that"

The two chuckled together at the weird conversation. Ochako felt as if she were interviewing an outsider. Ironical.

Katsumi after strolling in the garden decides to tidy up her young lady's chamber. 

She skips her way to the princess's chamber. She enters the room and that's when it hits her. She has the room to herself. 

She can probably try to find something related to the estranged relationship between Galilee and Aurora. She spends a good enough time searching for an important looking document.

 
That's it! She found a letter carefully placed between the pages of a book. She takes out the wrinkled paper and reads it.

Dear Izumi,

From Kosuke.

I hope this letter finds you in your happy moments because I wish to be a part of those moments with you. If you would like to take a step further in our intimate relationship, I can also provide you everything from emotional to physical. I know my constant letters are being annoying but you do love replying to me. I love it when your letters come and have the sweetest words blotted on them. I am willing to make my moves bolder if you may allow that. I wait for you patiently. I've heard that the new maid of yours has romantic feelings for you. Do you not feel disgusted by her? You did reply with discomfort in your previous letter. I have found out that she is the Aurora's Princess Katsumi. Your kingdom's tie with Aurora will be poor. There is no future of two female heiress together. Wouldn't you like a man for the progress?

Tears fell down those ruby red eyes. She never felt so betrayed by someone she loved. To think Izumi played with her emotions was unbearable for the young maiden. She collapsed on the floor crying. She placed the letter and book back in its place and lays down on Izumi's bed. She felt her heart break into several pieces. Her nose scrunched and she cried with her face buried in the sheets.
