Red is like a delicious cherry,
dangling from a tree above,
take it and bite it
and feel how the taste
of a mild summer evening
will spread on your tongue.

Orange is like a blazing flame,
illuminating the darkest nights,
step closer and sense it,
the heat of the fire,
and then watch the sparks
dance in the light.

Yellow is like a bright ray of sunshine,
warming your skin in the sweetest of ways,
look up and let go,
let the sun kiss your nose,
be aware that you'll miss her
when night comes around.

Green is like a magical forest,
luring you in with its beautiful charmes,
stand still and listen,
you hear the birds chirping?
The ripple and splashing
of a brook that's nearby.

Blue is like a piece of the ocean,
deep and enchanting and hard to forget,
dive in and swim
and loose yourself,
one day that beauty will catch your breath,
so be back at the surface in time.

Violet is like the prettiest flower,
blooming alone in the greenest of fields,
stop and kneel down
and then pick it up,
but treat her petals with care and respect,
and never leave her behind again.

The rainbow is like a wonderful moment,
a blink of an eye that's filled with joy,
so pause and breathe
and let it in,
that feeling of bliss and pureness and love,
keep it locked in your heart for eternity.
