There was a mother carrying her injured child of 6-7 years away from a group of drunk armed men, there were bullets everywhere, the men shooting in the air like a warning sign drunkly, but one of them shot the mother.
as her blood smeared over the little child's face she mumbled
"go...go!! Run!..I love you Wilson!-...take care.." tears started flowing down the child's face as blood and water mixed up, the child gripped a hat he had kept pressed up against him in fear, he would never let go of this hat....not after what just happened. the men kicked the mother with the following words "you should've listened to him".

The child ran away, far and far , it took days...he was starving...he wanted a guardian...or food really, till he found a small cottage with a barn and large fields.

He knocked on the door of the cottage......an old man answers, "yes?...oh hello little boy....you lost?" The man asks with a soft tone, "yes" the child says nervously, despite the elder man's suspension he let the boy in, welcoming him into shelter, the cottage had two people sitting inside, an elder woman and a young girl, nearly around the boys age, "this is my wife Diane and my little girl Edwina, shes roughly about you're age" the elder man says, guiding the boys back into a small spare room, "you'll stay here till we find you're parents" the elder man said and the little boy nodded his head is understanding, the little boy rolls the small bedroll on the floor and starts laying down to sleep, "wait now, what's youre name first?" The elder man asks, "Wilson callagh-Callaghan" the little boy stuttered,

"alright Wilson let's get you a bath then you can sleep." The old man suggested, Wilson nods his head with agreement and walks away from his 'bedroom' with the old man, after Wilson settled with a bath and exited he made his way back to his bedroom passing by the elderly woman and daughter, the woman waves and the daughter looks away shyly, Wilson makes his way to the bedroom and the old man offered him some clothes to change into "I'll go wash you're clothes so you just wear these little one" as the old man picks up wilsons blood stained clothes he walks away with a smile, Wilson went to sleep gripping that same old hat he had since days ago, and with that came endless nightmares of his mother and the pool of blood she layed in.

He woke up the next sunrise and slowly made his way into the supposed living room, he found the little girl and the woman making soup there, he wanted to melt into a puddle from all the shyness but he gathered enough courage to muster a few words up "hungry.....?" He muttered and the woman instantly gave a smile, "here's supper little boy, you're names Wilson right?" The woman asked "y-yes.." wilson stuttered, the woman smiled and offered him a bowl of soup while giving another bowl to the little girl "I know you two will get along well, her names edwina, she's a bit shy at first but she's really energetic once you get to know her" she teases and smiles at the girl, Edwina, smiles back at her and gives Wilson a smile too "she's right" she says quietly and begins eating her soup, and so does Wilson, after a while they both finish thier food and the mom suggests they both go play in the yard, so they get up and run towards the big field, filled with flowers and exotic plants, the girl stops midway and says "I have a feeling you'll be here for a while, we should get to know eachother! I'm Edwina as you know and I love flowers! Now you!" She says excitedly, "im Wilson and I love......hm.....I love....Guns!" He says shyly,
"oh? Uh that's not very good for you, you should like dogs or..." She looks around and continues "and flowers! Like me!" "What are dogs...?"
Wilson says confused, "you don't...you don't know? They are like those BIG things with sharp teeth and long ears! Oh and a big nose!" She says excited to tell every single detail to Wilson, "Come on we should go playyy!!! Hide and seek!!" She suggests , Wilson nods excitedly and yells "you're it!!" "Aww ok I'll start counting" Wilson ran into the fields while hearing Edwinas counting fade away, "here I come!" Edwina yells and start frantically searching the fields, not moments later she caught Wilson and start laughing as he runs away, after a while of playing the both got tired and made thier way carefully out the fields holding hands so they don't get lost, they made thier way back to the cottage with a huge smile across thier face, and as the sun sets they eat dinner with the woman, "mm...where's father?" Edwina asks, "he'll be back soon he's just working honey" the mother responds, the day passes normally as they finish dinner and go to bed to await the next day, and the next and so on, the father hasn't came back, what we see now from a cottage to a home Wilson has gotten used to the father's absence, but the others not so kindly,
