He was older than the three, but still young, probably in his mid-twenties. He had a brown ponytail and a strong look. These were its main features.

«Why aren’t you in the line?» Herega approached him.
The man seemed to ignore him at the time, but he replied a few seconds later.
«I care about my life. Looking at those people... It makes me happy.» He said, keeping his serious look.
None of the three understood.
«Why are there so many people here?» Eavelin asked him, looking for answers about the tower.
The man knew they were not from there. So he began to explain.
«The tower was built long ago by a sorcerer. Every year, twice a year, demons appear inside. It is not clear what they are or where they come from... Once you reach the top floor, you can face the Demon King. He hides a treasure, something really precious, that only two people managed to reach or, at least, so it is said. Those people in line are signing up to participate in the demon hunt. They are expected to reappear next week and month. Without proper preparation, however, you risk death. It takes a single scratch from a demon to be poisoned, and this is very likely to kill you. I have always believed in a primary equality between human beings but, seeing so many people who are in a hurry to die, it makes me feel superior. I am not happy for their future deaths, but to realize that I am a reasonable person.» He replied exhaustively.
The three understood that the tower was the work of Meta, only he could do something like this.
«How many demons would you be able to face?» Herega asked, noticing the eyes of that man, they were off, but they transmitted the same emotions as those of the youth.
«Why do you ask?» He said to him, a little irritated and surprised.
His gaze, once again, was enough to answer.
«One hundred if for a few seconds. Twenty if I had to fight repeatedly. People like you could probably survive no more than three demons.» He replied.
He didn’t seem to want to be vain, but if what he said was true, he was really an incredible person. Herega knelt before him, holding his head low.
«I have a goal to accomplish. I must get the Demon King's treasure. If you can train me, please do it.» He begged.
The youth was sure that his target this time was the King’s treasure. After all, the letter was on the island of thieves, made by Meta. The treasure was now in the tower, also by Meta.
«So you are a fool like them?» He said disgusted by his bow.
«No. You said that their mistake is not to access the tower, but not have adequate preparation. That’s why I’m asking you to train me.» Herega countered.
The face painted on the man's face changed. He was impressed by his seriousness and ambition, which did not mix with madness.
«Get up, courage. I’ve decided that I’ll help you. But the odds of dying are higher than the odds of living.» He replied.
«Follow me. I will take you to the place where I train with my master. He is also an expert in Demonology. He will help you.» He added as he walked.
Herega was the first to follow him, the girls went for seconds.
«I did not ask for your name.» The red-haired youth said to the boy.
«My name is Anfer, of the Kuragawa dynasty.» He replied.
«The Kuragawa dynasty? The most important ancient family of Flu, the capital of Elandria. I didn’t know that heirs still existed.» Eavelin said to Anfer.
«Why not? After all, it’s not been long since the Kuragawas took power. But I still repudiate that family. You can call me Anfer or, if you like, master.»
«Why did you decide to repudiate your family?» Herega asked curious.
After all, he had done the same thing. Anfer hesitated for a moment to answer. Then he told him his story.

«My father is the head of the Kuragawa family. He always wanted the best for me, and I always thought I should thank him for that. He wanted me to have only noble friends, thus repudiating the plebeians. And I, having that chance, felt special. One day, however, I fell in love with a girl, who soon discovered to be a plebeian. Her parents, however, wronged a member of the Kuragawa family, so they were murdered. The girl I loved, in pain, committed suicide. The next day I abandoned Flu, and so did the Kuragawas. I want to become stronger, so that I can get revenge on the Kuragawas for my beloved’s death. And I will rule Flu according to a principle of equality, which will not stop the nobles from having plebeian friends, and will not stop the plebeians from having noble friends.» Anfer said.
All three understood his interests. Despite the threatening appearance, he was a really good person with right ideals.
«You’re strong, Anfer, or rather master, I’m sure you could win over the Kuragawa.» Herega replied.
Eavelin felt a little lost in the discussion between the two young men, so she approached Her companion.
«Yet the history books say that the Kuragawas get out of power years ago.» She whispered to Herega.
«History books don’t come to the present day. And they don’t always tell the truth. The world evolves. That’s what I like about our world. That always changes.» He countered.
He had been a little distracted by the speech, but decided to ignore it anyway. After all, what happened in Elandria was not always known to Nustia in a short time, nor was it known to other nations.
«We are here» Anfer said.
