43. First Week at the Court.

Vanessa was asked to be Cassandra's bride's maid, and she accepted. She helped Cassandra to get into her wedding dress and walked beside her. The wedding was as big as Eric's. Many gossiped about it and envied Alester. The couple walked down the aisle, took their vows, put their rings on, and kissed.

People clapped.

"Piggy's a prince now," said Karlo.

The other boys giggled, Kevin laughed and felt Bryan's eyes on him.

"Piggy?"

"Alester Quichi's nickname," explained Kevin.

Bryan eyed him.

Kevin cleared his throat.

Music played, and people clapped as Cassandra and Alester danced. They all faked their happy faces, but Karlo didn't stop commenting on Alester.

"Is Piggy stopping to work at the court?"

"No," said Oliver. "Lady Cassandra is a niece of the queen, not a royal princess."

"She is practically one," said Kevin.

They all nodded.

"But the queen will root out the Quichis, " said Oliver. "If he'd ever cheat on her niece."

Once again they nodded.

Kevin wasn't sure whether he should be envious or worried for Alester. Yes, he was practically a 'prince' now, since he got married to the Crown Prince's cousin but Oliver was right. Should he make a single mistake, not just the Quichis but all the Accidents would be rooted out as if they'd never existed in the first place. Bur Alester was a bright boy. he wouldn't make such a silly mistake.

El smiled, she kept on making eye contact with Kevin, but he was busy thinking, so instead she chatted with Vanessa.

"Are you okay, girl?"

"Shouldn't I be"?" said Vanessa, "Why is everybody asking me that?"

El smiled. She and the rest wanted Vanessa to feel comfortable and happy, because she was practically ruined, so it was only expected for her to be not okay.

Eric and Ian talked among themselves, Eroc wasn't happy about this either, but he was still a prince, not the king.

Ian made small talk with him and was glad that Alexandro and Eric's friendship was slowly tearing apart.

Alester softly kissed Cassandra on her lips and slowly undressed her, and about to go inside her when he stopped.

"Should I call the servant boy, love?"

Alester blinked. "My lady, I am so sorry."

"You don't have to be," said Cassandra. "I want two children, a boy and a girl."

Alester kissed her again. "Of course!"

Then he went inside her softly she groaned.

The next day, they headed down to breakfast, where Lord and Lady Quichi were glad to hear the news. But Alexandro wasn't. He faked his smile and didn't say a word over breakfast. When they laughed Lord Quichi asked him to stay.

"What is it?"

"What if they have children before I do?"

"Then you have a niece and or a nephew."

"Father." said Alexandro." you know what I mean?"

"Aleister wouldn't dare to stand in your way," said Lord Quichi. "He has just entered the court."
