Preview of Mario & Luigi in Bendy and the Dark Revival.

Prolougue

While I don't finish the other fanfic, Mario & Luigi in Bendy and the Ink Machine, I decided to release this brief preview of the next story that will be released soon. You can also give ideas for this story and what plot may happen. I already have some ideas planned, such as the Mario brothers being separated when they return to the world of the ink machine, and Mario teaming up with Allison and Tom, while Luigi will be with Audrey.

In a laboratory room, a shadow of a person stood in front of a small photo of two people in red and green costumes, wandering around one of the places in Joey Drew Studios.

"These two... they were once in our world... but only one of them still has something from here. Bring him here. We will need this from this human for any future experiments." - declared this person, as they got up and walked away from there.

A year had passed since the Mario Brothers had ended up in that animation studio, whose drawings were transformed into living ink creatures. Even though no one in the kingdom believed them, the brothers remained firm in the memories of that adventure.

Apparently, the one who seemed to be most affected by it all was Mario, because since they returned, he always picked up unnecessary power-ups every day and kept them with him in an infinite backpack, which he got after another one of his adventures.

Luigi had already questioned him several times about that, and Mario always said that he wanted to beware of something like that again. The red plumber never stopped feeling guilty about his younger brother getting hurt because of him, even though the injuries disappeared when they returned to their world.

But for today, Luigi decided to put that worry aside, as today was a special day for the entire Mushroom Kingdom.

Today was the Mushroom Kingdom's birthday, and Princess Peach wanted to organize the biggest event of the year. She, of course, invited the two brothers to participate in this event with her and her Toad subjects. Mario was thrilled with the invitation, and Luigi hoped that this event would take his brother's mind off of his worries and that they could both relax and have fun today.

Oh, how wrong he was. All along the way, Mario was collecting various power-ups along the way, whenever he could. The green plumber just sighed in response, as he carried the two white, red and green presents to the event. Mario's answer was "I want to prevent myself in case something were to happen today. Like Bowser crashing the party to ruin it or kidnapping Princess Peach, as usual."

With that, Luigi remained silent the entire way. What he didn't know was that Mario had a bad feeling that something was going to happen, and that it didn't involve Bowser.

As soon as they arrived, they were both greeted by Princess Peach, who greeted them with a smile. While his older brother stayed and talked to the princess, the green plumber went to the area where everyone present was, placing the gifts with the others.

Luigi took a good look around the courtyard, where there were several Toads running around and talking to each other. There were decorations involving ribbons, large pink banners, and flowers adorning the garden. There was a table with various sweets and a punch bowl, with a 15-tiered cake in the middle. This year, they really outdid themselves.

Minutes later, Mario joined him, and the two began to talk. - "So, what do you think of the party, bro?" - he asked, looking around. - "Oh, pretty cool. I think they really went all out with the decorations this year."
