I spotted Mieshaniel near the UST gate, looking stunning in her leather jacket. I parked my car and approached her.

"Hey, Mieshaniel! Looked like you made it on time," I said, smiling.

She turned, slightly surprised. "Alexis. What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to make sure you're okay after this morning," I replied.

Mieshaniel's expression softened. "I'm fine. Thanks."

I glanced at her illustration board. "Wow, your childhood dream house? It's amazing!"

Mieshaniel's eyes lit up. "Thanks! It's for our project."

We chatted about her project, and I found myself captivated by her passion.

I was talking to him when I remembered something.

Why I am talking with this guy, Alexis!?

Heller, we aren't that close.

My soft expression changed into my original expression then I raised my eyebrow to him and get my project on him.

"Hoy, impakto umalis ka na. Alis na." I said while raising my eyebrow to him but I saw him chuckles to me.

Aba, itong impakto na 'to, may gana pang tumawa?

Akala ba niya madadaan niya ako sa ganyan?

He's handsome but hey, for me he's still a ugly creature na impakto!

I chuckled at Mieshaniel's sudden change in demeanor.

"Okay, okay, I'll leave," I said, grinning. "But can I ask one thing?"

Mieshaniel raised an eyebrow, "What?"

"You're always so fierce, but I see glimpses of softness. Which one is the real Mieshaniel?" I asked, curious.

Her expression faltered for a moment before she regained her tough stance.

"Wala kang pakialam dun!" she said, brushing me off.

I laughed, "Okay, I'll respect that."

As I turned to leave, I whispered, "But I'll find out."
