Avalon's POV

"Do I need this?" I question as I look at the paper in my hands.

"No." Astrid says. "It's just in the packet for all first time call-ups."

I'm in Columbus, Ohio for my first USWNT camp.

Somehow I got called up.

"Oh." I say. "Not that I'm complaining, but I thought you all stayed in Airbnb's."

"There weren't enough homes available at the time because of some Ohio State thing." Astrid says.

"Oh." I say. "When do I need to be downstairs?"

"Uh 30 minutes." Astrid says.

I nod then Astrid leaves my room so I get my stuff situated while Taco lays on one of the beds.

"Taco you're lucky you're cute." I say as I look at my doggy. 

"You also look very majestic." I say.

Taco smiles at me then he grabs his alligator toy and plays with it.

"So cute." I mumble then I continue getting my room situated.

Once my room is situated I change out of my flight clothes and change into my workout gear.

After I'm changed, I put on my shoes, grab Taco's things, then I put Taco's things along with my phone, wallet, and headphones into my bag.

"Alright buddy." I say as I put Taco's harness and leash on him then I rub his head and kiss his head. "Let's head down stairs."

Taco woofs and hops off the bed as I grab my bag then my doggy and I leave the room and head down stairs.

Once in the lobby, I follow the directions on my phone of where to go to the team meeting/chill room.

"Here we are Taco." I say as we get to the door then my doggy and I head inside

"AVA." I hear a former friend of mine shout as I step into the chill room then I get wrapped in a hug.
