"Satoru...?" David whispered, his voice trembling with disbelief.

It was Satoru Gojo, standing before him as if plucked straight from the pages of Jujutsu Kaisen.

"Father."

David's eyes widened in shock. Father?! Did he just hear that right? He blinked, trying to make sense of the situation, but the word echoed in his mind.

'Did he just call me father?!' David thought, his heart racing.

The situation seemed utterly ridiculous like something ripped straight from the dreams of a manga fan, but it was happening. He couldn't deny what was before him—he had somehow been transported into Jujutsu Kaisen as none other than Satoru Gojo's father! The absurdity of it all made his head spin.

Before he could fully process this, Satoru's calm voice broke through his thoughts.

"Father," Satoru repeated, his voice smooth and respectful, though his sharp blue eyes were as intense as ever. "I sensed something here..."

David snapped out of his reverie, forcing himself to focus. "Sensed... something?"

Satoru Gojo's abilities were legendary. He possessed Limitless, a powerful technique that allowed him to manipulate space at an atomic level, controlling the very fabric of reality itself. But that wasn't all—Six Eyes, an innate technique unique to the Gojo family, allowed him to see and comprehend cursed energy in ways no one else could. His vision was near-omniscient regarding the flow of cursed energy, allowing him to detect even the smallest shifts in the environment accurately.

David could only assume that Satoru's Six Eyes sensed something amiss, explaining why he had entered the room. But David couldn't help but wonder—why would Satoru need to enter the office? Couldn't he just sense everything from outside, with his ability to see the flow of cursed energy throughout an entire area?

Satoru, almost as if reading his thoughts, shook his head slightly. "I apologize, Father. It seems I was mistaken," he said, his tone a bit more relaxed. "Sorry for disturbing you."

With that, Satoru turned gracefully and slid the door closed with a soft shh, leaving David alone in the quiet room once more.

David let out a deep breath, finally allowing himself to react. His hand instinctively went to his forehead, his mind reeling from the sheer absurdity of it all. He glanced up at the ceiling, feeling a mix of disbelief and anxiety bubbling up inside him.

"Haa..." he exhaled heavily. This situation still felt surreal.

He rubbed his temples, trying to understand what had just happened. Somehow, he was here, in this world, as Satoru Gojo's father. But as the reality of his new existence set in, his thoughts drifted to the people he had left behind.

His daughter.

The image of her face flashed in his mind, her smile, the sound of her laughter. A deep ache filled his chest as he thought of her, the one person who meant everything to him. How could he be here, in this strange new world, while she was still back in his old one? Was she safe? Was she worried about him? The thought alone nearly drove him to panic.

And then, Daniel. His best friend. What would he say if he knew David had somehow crossed into a fictional world? They had joked about it before, but now... it wasn't a joke. It was real.

"Did I truly die and get transported here?" he muttered under his breath, his mind racing.

The last thing he remembered was collapsing on the floor, his body failing him after being shot twice. His life flashed before his eyes—his wife, daughter, Daniel—and then... nothing. He had blacked out, and now he was here, standing in a lavish, traditional Japanese room, talking to Satoru Gojo.
