After a tragic encounter with robbers, David, a devoted single father, finds himself unexpectedly transported into Jujutsu Kaisen. Now inhabiting the role of Seijuro Gojo-the mysterious, previously unmentioned father of Satoru Gojo-David possesses c...
It was wintertime, and the Gojo compound had been transformed into a wonderland of Christmas decorations. Wreaths adorned the gates, glittering lights wrapped around the trees, and oversized ornaments hung from every possible corner. There was even a massive Christmas tree in the center courtyard, its branches heavy with shimmering tinsel and a golden star shining at the top.
Toji leaned against a pillar; his arms crossed as he surveyed the festive chaos. He let out a long, exasperated sigh.
"I don't get it. Why is Seijuro going all out for Christmas? He's not even Christian," he muttered to himself.
It was indeed unusual. For one of the three great jujutsu families, known for their rigid traditions and strong adherence to Japanese culture, celebrating Christmas like this—complete with what looked like imported reindeer statues—was downright bizarre. The Zenin clan, for example, would never bother with something as frivolous as Christmas.
"And these decorations have been up since September," Toji continued, shaking his head in disbelief. "Seriously, what even is he?"
"Come on, Toji!" a cheerful voice interrupted his grumbling.
Before Toji could react, Seijuro appeared out of nowhere, throwing an arm around his shoulders with a wide grin almost blinding. His festive red sweater with reindeer patterns only added to the absurdity.
"It's Christmas! Stop acting like the Grinch and enjoy it!" Seijuro said, patting Toji's back.
Toji let out another sigh, but a small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. "Fine. Merry Christmas or whatever."
Seijuro's grin widened further, and he handed Toji a neatly wrapped gift. The box was adorned with gold ribbon, its paper glittering faintly in the light.
Toji blinked, his expression shifting into something unreadable. He couldn't remember the last time someone had given him a gift. He was sure no one ever had—not in the Zenin clan.
"...Thank you," Toji said softly, hesitating for a moment before taking the gift.
"Go on, open it!" Seijuro urged, bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet like an excited kid.
Toji carefully tore the wrapping paper and lifted the lid of the box. His brows shot up as he stared at the contents.
It was a book titled "How to Be a Good Father 101."
Toji's eyebrow twitched as he raised the book and turned to Seijuro, who was grinning mischievously.
"What's this supposed to mean?" Toji asked, his voice flat.
Seijuro clapped him on the shoulder, still grinning. "It's for future purposes! You never know, right?"
Before Toji could retort, Seijuro dashed off, laughing and shouting, "Merry Christmas!"
Toji stood there momentarily, staring at the book in his hands. The cover was bright and cheerful, with an illustration of a cartoon dad holding hands with a little kid. Toji sighed heavily, shaking his head, but there was a faint warmth in his chest he couldn't quite ignore.
"At least my employer gave me a gift," he muttered, tucking the book under his arm as he glanced at the gaudy Christmas tree. "Guess I'll give this whole Christmas thing a shot..."
And with that, he walked off, the faintest hint of a smile tugging at his lips.

Satoru walked through the Gojo compound with a bright smile, his hands tucked into his pockets as he admired the festive decorations around him. Lights twinkled on every tree, wreaths adorned the doors, and ornaments sparkled in the sunlight. The entire compound was alive with color and cheer—starkly contrasting its usually stoic and traditional appearance.
His father had suggested the decorations, shocking not just Satoru but the entire household. Since September, the Gojo compound had been transformed into a Christmas wonderland, and while the initial reaction from the staff and residents had been disbelief, they quickly warmed up to the idea. Satoru himself had been surprised initially, but now, he welcomed the warmth and joy it brought.
"Satoru!"
Hearing his father's voice, Satoru stopped in his tracks and turned around. His eyes lit up when he saw Seijuro walking toward him with a smile, holding a neatly wrapped gift in his hands. The colorful paper and ribbon caught the light, adding to the festive air.
Satoru's excitement bubbled up as he watched his father approach. This was new—his father had never done anything like this before. He'd read in books about the tradition of giving gifts during Christmas, but experiencing it firsthand was something else entirely.
"Dad!" Satoru called out, his smile widening.
Seijuro knelt to his son's level, his smile warm and genuine. He extended the gift to Satoru. "Merry Christmas, Satoru. Here, a present for you."
Satoru's crimson eyes gleamed with joy as he took the gift into his hands. "Thanks, Dad!"
Eagerly, he tore into the wrapping paper, his small hands working quickly until the box inside was revealed. As he opened it, his eyes widened with excitement and curiosity.
Inside, there were three items:
-A pair of stylish sunglasses with a sleek black frame.
-A stack of storybooks from Britain with colorful covers depicting knights, dragons, and magical adventures.
-A cooking book titled "Dessert Recipes!" featuring mouthwatering images of cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats.
Satoru gasped, his fingers brushing over the items as he processed the thoughtfulness behind the gift.
"Sunglasses, huh?" he muttered, holding them up. He quickly tried them on, tilting his head from side to side. They made his sensitive eyes feel more comfortable as the lenses dulled the bright light. "These are cool!"
Seijuro chuckled. "I thought they'd help you feel more comfortable with your eyes in the sunlight. And those storybooks? Well, you've always been imaginative, and I figured you'd enjoy exploring some adventures from faraway lands."
Satoru looked at the storybooks, flipping through one and marveling at the vibrant illustrations. "Wow... These are awesome, Dad!"
Seijuro's smile softened as he pointed to the final gift. "And that cookbook is for you to experiment with some desserts. You love sweets, don't you?"
Satoru clutched the cookbook, his excitement bubbling over. "Really?! I can learn to make my desserts?!"
Seijuro ruffled Satoru's hair, laughing softly. "Of course. I thought it'd be fun for you to try. Who knows, you might become the next master dessert chef of the Gojo clan."
Satoru beamed, clutching the gifts to his chest. "Thanks, Dad. This is the best Christmas ever!"
Seijuro felt a warm sensation in his chest as he watched his son's happiness. Moments like these reminded him why he worked so hard to build a stronger bond with Satoru. "Merry Christmas, Satoru," he said softly.
And as Satoru laughed and looked at his new treasures, the season's festive spirit felt brighter than ever in the Gojo compound.
