After returning to the compound with Satoru asleep, Seijuro made his way back to the training ground. Over the past two days, he'd focused solely on teaching Satoru Aikido and Koppojutsu, and as much as he enjoyed their progress together, he had neglected his own training.
"Now that I have the time, it's time to train for myself," he murmured with a determined smile.
Since arriving in this world, he'd only just managed to sense cursed energy, a feat that brought him a sense of relief. It wasn't much, but it was a start. Now, his goal was to learn how to manipulate it effectively, especially if he wanted to use Limitless, the Gojo family's famous inherited technique.
"Since I can only feel cursed energy," he thought aloud, "it probably means I don't have Six Eyes."
It made sense. Having both Limitless and Six Eyes was extremely rare; in fact, Satoru was the only one in 400 years to possess both. Seijuro could sense cursed energy, but not with the heightened precision and clarity that Six Eyes granted. Instead, his perception was more like a raw awareness, rather than the enhanced vision Six Eyes would have provided.
"But as a Gojo, I should at least have Limitless," he reasoned. "And even if I can't use it to its full potential without Six Eyes, it's better than nothing."
If he was going to face Kenjaku one day, he needed to master every bit of power he could access, even if it wasn't at the same level as the future Satoru. It was his best chance of survival-and of making a difference.
"Alright... let's try Blue," he muttered, focusing on the first application of Limitless.
Blue was the foundational technique of Limitless, creating an attraction point that pulled objects toward it by distorting space. Using cursed energy, Blue acted like a miniature gravitational force, a powerful pull capable of drawing in anything caught within its radius.
Seijuro closed his eyes, focusing intently as he began gathering cursed energy. He visualized it pooling in his arm, a concentrated force building up as he extended his hand toward the wall in front of him.
Unbeknownst to him, the foliage around him began to change in response. The leaves shifted from vibrant green to shades of orange, then dark red, withering as though life was being drained from them, only to return to green again. The cycle repeated-green to dead brown, then green again-cycling through colors as if time itself was flickering around him.
With all his focus, Seijuro channeled the cursed energy into his arm, feeling it ripple through his body like an electric current. Suddenly, a large, circular glyph appeared beneath him, glowing a bright, light blue. Sparks crackled in the air, and blue orbs sprang to life around him, spiraling outward, each orb adorned with intricate, star-like patterns that danced and shifted with the energy.
He opened his eyes, his gaze fixed on the swirling orbs of light. His heart raced as he took in the sight.
"Is this... Blue?" he wondered, feeling a rush of excitement.
The orb before him didn't resemble the Blue he remembered from the manga. This was something more ornate, with strange, star-shaped patterns that pulsed with life. It felt unfamiliar, yet powerful. But as he looked at it, he shrugged off the difference.
'I don't care,' he thought, a grin spreading across his face. 'As long as it can destroy stuff, it's good enough for me!'
With that thought, he released the energy, his arm thrusting forward.
The orbs responded instantly, spiraling outward in a dazzling display. Blue beams arched and twisted through the air, leaving shimmering trails that filled the space with an electric hum. The energy beams spun outward like ethereal vines, swirling in beautiful, flower-like shapes that pulsed with intense brightness. They cast an otherworldly glow, an ominous yet mesmerizing sight that hinted at the sheer force contained within.
